Kiwi6920
We are looking at a new tractor at work. I have it down to 2 choices JD6420 or SAME iorn 110 The same only has 61l/m hydro pump seams a bit slow for loader work in my mind
Datman
are you talking utility type or larger? id go for a NH tm125. plenty of grunt for heavier work, not as versatile but would still take a loader ok.

allis8550
massey 1250 ,nothing quite like it for fun at work I'll second that TM810 , or a 1200 , or a 6180, [no wait a minute I've already got one of those] or a big Allis Chalmers ,like a 7030 or an 8030, now that'll do me. SPN
The Fendt 818 is the must have fashion accesory for the discerning farmer round these parts. The County 1174 is my all time favourite tractor.
Deere-est
Depends on what the farm was doing for enterprises but to go for a good all rounder, at a good price second hand, easy to work on and a pleasant place to spend a day I think I would go for a Ford 8340.
