Renault 103-54 Transplant

Recommended Posts

As most of you know, I'm a big fan of Renault tractors so I thought I'd have a go at giving one a make over. In between beet harvesters this morning ::) I carried out a chassis transplant on a Britains 103-54 using a UH Valtra C chassis, still got a lot of detailing to do but I think it's a vast improvement on the original, let me know what you all think :)

Finally got back to this one today, have now glued all the Renault bodywork in place along with the Valtra seat, pedals, steering wheel and gearsticks, paintwork is a bit dodgy on floorpan at the minute but will get another coat asap. Just needs new decals and some trimmings on the cab now :);)

What do you all think to it ???

hey thats looking gud just compleated one myself and a valtra loader adds a sumthing elce. how did u cut off the bottom of the seat from the valtra floor pan?

Thanks, I used a Dremel with a cutting disc to get the seat base out, fairly straight forward but you need to make sure that you cut it in the right places from underneath
