SPN Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 For your next trick you should put in an [url=http://www.farmersjournal.ie/2008/0223/farmmanagement/farmbuildings/index.shtml]anaerobic digester in front of the tank. - It creates methane gas which you can use to run a generator (Free electricity) - Kills the weed seeds in the slurry - Improves the Nitrogen availability of the slurry (by a factor of four if my memory serves me right) - The slurry don't smell afterwards - You can take off a very nutrient rich compost material.
