Andy
Very nice collection in April at Vectis. Included is a number of countys including this one. No inclination from Vectis that its a customisation. I'm not convinced but would be nice if we could get confirmation either way!
JC
It would be a gambling man who paid good money for that model!

BC
wasn't there only two coloured County's white and yellow? \ I sure there are both yellow and white ones in the Pullen book.

Andy
Indeed there was, but there has been rumours for many years that a number were released in blue.
Deerepower
one thing that stands out is why is the weight block done in black? looks like a britains ford tw/30 series been converted with bits off a britains county to me \

powerrabbit
The yellow version of the 1884 was non-powered. There was a version of the 1884 that was powered, this tractor had a black front axle and casting. I was told that it is an original, very few were made aparently and never apeared in the catalogue, the example I have unfortunately is un-boxed so I can't verify its authenticity, it may possible be that Britain's may have 'toyed' with the idea of producing a blue 1884 powered model but decided to stick to the TW35 version. Speaking of the TW35 'Power Farm' model, I have a pair of them (together with a pair of Howard dungspreaders that went with them) that were 'shop display' models, these tractors have no motors in them and were displayed in shop windows with the spreaders connected to them on a diorama. The dungspreaders are a darker orange than what the final production ones were painted and so these were never boxed.
Tractorman810
i am sure i read in farm and site that a few blue countys were made, but they didnt go for them down to the fact they did so many blues already??? hence the white and yellow models have a feeling warner hall may well have written the bit to
Marmitemania
I've never seen a Conty or a TW35 bonnet decal peel of maybe it is a convo, would be very easy to do.
Marmitemania
Just spotte the shop price label on the front of the box, surely if they only made a few they would only be for evaluation, and not sold in the shops.
