Well ive not done much at the model nigel due to exams and generaly been bisy lately but i did make new axle brakets for it so she wont be sitting as high in the front as before!

the decal is simaler to the one the DBTC supply but our own sticker maker made these for us!

just so you all know in case you have not spoted it the hydra shift stickers are spelt wrong but these are been changed today.

Ha ha!

they certinaly were impresive looking tractors when new! this particular 1694 is a very smooth running tractor and seems to be full of life! this week she will be on mowing dutys with our kuhn so ill have to get picks of that! next up for a refurbish is either our 1980 2wd 1690 or the 4wd pictured on the mower!

hopefully the next tractor wont take 5 years on and off to complete!

Yep - I think you did James - you had her split that time and had a rougher red one in as well when I PM'd you about buying a Case/DB ;)

Nice job though mate - anymore additions since ???

Oh no the DB split in the shed is a 1594 with the later carrero 4wd axle she will be turned into a 1694 she is still there and the engine is almost ready to go back in! then she want's a respray! that 1594 is a very tight machine she hasent got much wear! the linkage is like new still.

hopefully she will be done in a few months. the red one i showed you is in fact a white one she will be getting the treatment to and will be sprayed back white.

No notting much at the moment colm! weve got a 4cylinder implematic 880 which isint to bad she need's a bonnet and other tinwork but the block is not cracked and she run's well.

there's a white 990 with a lamborne cap which is not to bad but the block is cracked! thats about it i think he's looking 1000 euro for the 880 im not sure what he wants for the 990?

Nice pictures there again James and nice job on the 1410 although no air vents now in the cab ???

you could cut out the holes in it for the vents but we didnt see much point in going to the bother of doing it. any way if you are to warm in the cab the to side windows slide open and then there's the rear to! so there's plenty of ventilation.

Cracking James, I love the 90 / 94 series tractors. The guy who did the hedge trimming at our last place had a 2wd 1290 so we bought a 1390 standard box 4wd when we moved to the Lynch and I loved it... 'box and back end eventually gave out which was a real shame, would love another one again.... I'm not particularly up on the individual models, I remember selling a CommEd 1594  H/S when I was at Renault to a local farmer, still going now and he loves it. What were the individual powers of each and were they all 4 pot or were the 15 & 16 6 pot machines? Forgive my lack of knowledge on this particular subject!  ;):D

yes they are great tractor's sure you just have to look at the great service my uncles got out of there 3 1200's one has around 40.000 hours on it the other 2 have about 30.000 each! one of the 1690's is on 28.000hr's when DB clammed they were built to last they 100% right!

there has been several other makes before including ford zetor ursus john deere deutz and none of them were as reliable as the DB's have been plus one of the best advantages DB had over the other's was there great traction they would pull any thing!

colm you are correct only one thing the 1390 was 67hp none turbo the 1394 came with a turbo and were 72hp

the 1190/94 had a 3 cylinder engine the 1290/94 1390/94 1490/94 were 4 cylinder with the 1394 1494 and 1490 were turbo charged the 1690 1690T 1594 and 1694 were all 6 cylinders.
