JohnDeereMan
The main things that need doing are givening it a wash and polish, and painting the rims and exhaust. Yeh i agree it is very tidy

Tractorman810
looks tidy, know what you mean about the front wheels mind walsh, i couldnt place what looked wrong till you pointed them out, they certainly look like te20 wheels to me on the front
Lord Ferguson
That size wheel was an option I believe.. quite a few on skinny fronts around here actually \ What you's think - ... one word..... PEACH
JohnDeereMan
Hi. Can you please tell me what is the rite grey colour for the engine/axle etc. Please Mnay thanks
Lord Ferguson
MF Stonleigh Grey I believe... \
MJB1
hmm bit of a 'grey' area this , stoneleigh grey is what people paint their t20's but harry ferguson always specified battleship grey which is a lot lighter in colour
Tractorman810
i think mf list it as stonleigh grey for the chassis work despite what old harry said to be honest marcus, most if not all restos of the 35 seem to use that colour, whether its fergy or non fergy paint used
MJB1
yeah i know sean , but have you ever seen a te20 thats unrestored in a shade of grey as dark as stoneleigh grey ?
Tractorman810
no unfortunatly most i have seen aint got any paint left, just dirt and oil on them :D but i do see what you mean, the te20 did have a slightly lighter paint colour to them, but was that just down to paint batch mixes, no 2 mixes are exact matches at the end of the day,
jdc
Local Massey dealer now stocks 'Vintage Ferguson Grey' which is a match for grey fergies - Stonleigh is right for this.
Rhysmassey135
i think id leave it as it is mate, its in good original off-farm condition, but its your choice
marshman
Very nice, it looks very original. Worth leaving as it is in my opiuion \. Watch out for the Massey paint, when we did our 135 up a few years ago it the paint came out Greenish, when it was the proper stonleigh grey, went back and complaind and they got quite funny about it. They did have a bad batch of it though, the 135 we have now looks to be a victim of it too The 135 still looks silver but is green when up close :
