A contracting life for me

Well been trimming on the same farm for 11 days now  ;D Still got my trimming buddy with  the mf 6490 700 hrs on the clock not too fussed on havin a drive (only because of the trimmer controls) but might have a go after Christmas  ;)

Also must add i have been travelling to and from every day on my mxu about a 50 mile round trip  ;D cheaper than using the farm truck

what spearhead is it, i can see its an excel, is it a 600? what controls does it have as my 590 excel is easy to operate and im sure you would enjoy having a go driving it ;)  i think all trees should be chopped down along with lamp posts, signs etc would make flailing so much easier ;D  (nice job you were making also ;))

Excel 606 and the control box nearly fills the cab up ugly thing apparently it's the wrong box .But there were a lot of staff changes at the time so nobody really had a clue what was going on  ;D

sooo boring if there's no trees to go around  ::)

wheres that fergy regestered to then stevo?? looks blurry but to me it looks like ts a wa or wx plate, i saw the local dealer's lorry that i use while i was up that way early nov,long way from cornwall for them

She came from twisters (Lister's) at cirencester so gloucestershire plate .They get changed every two years all three tractors then hire in another three for the summer  ;D

do you do any coutting for councils steve ??? we have 3 hedge trimmers with them and that kind of stuff you see quite often but its normally matraces and stuff like that :D

No council work mainly farms and a fair few private houses and on odd occasions tree surgeons working on major road works  ;D mostly that is done at night  ::) not a lot thankfully last year i started at 11 pm and finished at 3.30 am. Then round bailin by 9.am

Like the picture Stevo. Love the contracting life myself, Hopefully will have a Puma on Demo in Spring had a Fendt 718 and a Deutz TTV in Autumn.

Thanks it is an intresting job at times ;D( providing you don't like sleep) When it gets manic in the summer  ::) The puma's are a very nice tractor you will like them
