Deere-est
The Siku one and the UH one both come with header trollies don't they Joe?
CX820Joe
Siku MF comes with trolley (as does Fendt and Lexion), the only UH one so far though is the Tucano
Deere-est
Ah right, was sure the Siku one did and new the Tucano did - guessed the Activa would too. . .. wrongly!!
Daryl
why no trollies? Whats wrong with these people?! What do you use trolley wise for your Britains? I remember as a kid, i used to prise the end caps off the axles on my TR85, pull the axle out and take the header off. I used to lay it on top of an old muck spreader for the trolley! Happy days
Deere-est
I used to use a Corgi boat trailer
CX820Joe
I used the base of the old bale sledge for my TR85! I think I'm going to try and make something from plastruct for the CX's though...once I've worked out what axles to use.
BC
This year Ertl have released a header cat No 12943
Udimore
For me its a toss up between the UH Claas Tucano or Siku Lexions.. I have been surprised by the not so good reviews on the Tucano but I love it.. I know I should say the NH's combines are my fave having Blue blood but I am still waiting for UH to knock me down with one of those beauties

Daryl
nice collection I still have my very worn and used workhorses from my childhood. There's a lot of hours on the clock. MF 760 TR85 Corn King! Thats it at the moment. Hoping to acquire a few in the future though.
BC
Corn King was that a kinda John Deere look a like Britain's one because they didn't have licence to build John Deere models at the time Daryl
Daryl
Corn King was that a kinda John Deere look a like Britain's one because they didn't have licence to build John Deere models at the time Daryl It was just a recoloured TR85 with a maize head. Where the TR85 had the flat corn effect top, the Corn king had a smaller tank in the front half of the tank insert and an engine behind. It was just the TR85 with the TR's yellow bits in green and its red parts in yellow. The cab was yellow too. I think it was the first model to have Britains first effort of producing a straw chopper. I cut some JD badges and stuff out of a combine brochure and stuck them over the corn king writing, and pretended the maize head was a pick up header! It didn't get much carpet mileage, it was a bit of a non entity to me as a kid, it didn't look like anything really
BC
I need to get my hands on a good boxed one me thinks.
Daryl
I need to get my hands on a good boxed one me thinks. I think there was one on ebay a couple of weeks ago. I don't think there are too many around, most of my friends as kids didn't bother getting it. I got mine as a present when i was in hospital aged 8! BC
Any idea of what the Corn King made on Ebay Daryl
Daryl
Afraid not, it appeared sometime last week and then vanished almost as fast. I don't think the auction ran it's course
CX820Joe
I was aware at the time that the corn king was just a TR85 in a different colour scheme...still didn't stop someone telling me they saw one whilst on holiday in Wales

CX820Joe
I don't know what you think Daryl, but one time when I was deciding which seed drill to have I started a poll on here! Maybe if you whittle down the list of combines your interested in then start a poll, and see what votes you get...May not take off but if your struggling to choose its a different way of making the decision.
