Hi Wil, you can also contact Doe to pre-order the tractor. Only postage is a lot because of the weight of the plinth. Finally some alterations compared to the regular model, otherwise I think the special Doe versions were not special enough to keep them buying.

Mystery solved on the Doe 50. That is the first edition of the Super Major in blue/orange. Built from 1961 until 1963 when the New Performance Super Major came (blue/grey). Thanks Atte for the pictures.

You could be right! Then this one would probably be launched as a special edition on a plinth on the next Doe show earlu 2010.

Any pictures yet? And what is a Doe 50? I know of a Doe 5100, that is a 6 cylinder conversion of a Ford 5000 with only rear wheel drive.

Went to see a New Holland dealership last week and found a 5610 with AP cab, but apart from the roof everything else is the same.

Are you sure the rearaxle is driven, I can't remember this type of tractor has ground speed PTO which is neccesary for this kind of driveline. Might it be possible tehy used a 4wd model and they took drive for the rearaxle from this point.
