  1. Just checked your other post bill and realised it is in may at BA country stores, but alas I am away then as well not due back until 21st May
  2. Bill, To keep the mould boards from rusting cover them in grease. Was at a farm recently and the plough was in the shed and the mould boards were covered in grease. Would have come andwatched if I was at home but not home till start of April.
  3. 20 degrees in Baku and sunny, no wind today either
  4. HSE what is that!!! We have a safety initiative where the guys get a bonus if they get commended for good health and safety practices.Offer money and they will do anything!!!! Lots of dodgy stuff though like 2 metre deep holes with no barriers around them Yeah out here the cherry pickers are something else they have to keep starting the engines on them as they start to go down as they cannot maintain hydraulic pressure. Scary when you are in one and you come to rest on a pipe support They use lots of newer gear over here now, lots of CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO and FERMEC. Looks like they are shipping the old stuff out
  5. Stephen, Would be good to see a curtainsider.
  6. Jez, WOW It looks great there so much detail and that roller door has come out well.
  7. I have only seen the locking type feed barriers twice. Once was on a farm my dad worked on they had a herd of Blonde D Aquitaine's and they used to keep the young bulls in the pen with the locking barrier. Was handy for checking them and also tagging ang ringing there noses. The other time was at a farm the we recently viewed with the intent of buying. They had the locking barrier and no crush. He told me it save lots of time and they did all there TB testing using it and any other reason you would have used a crush. you alos get tombstone feed barriers designed for cattle with horns. Matty have never heard of of it being used for locking heads in to make sure that they eat? It is possible though
  8. Very handy if you need to check anything on cattle without having to get them in a crush
