  1. More.... The pair of AWs 8T mono, hyd door, bogie axles 10T mono [Autumn 07 model], hyd door, super singles, sprung axles
  2. It is, we bought it in 1983 I think. Used to be accompanied by a Lambourn cabbed 135 and a Ford 1910 4WD with a Lewis loader. They're long since gone but the Dexta remains. She's not done anything for probably 5 years now, got a flat tyre tedding hay, sat in the field for 6 months before being towed in and parked up. Only needs a tyre and an hour or so going round her but it's one of those things that will never happen! More pics, Sulky DPX Prima 1800 fert spreader.... Not as well washed as it would usually be but the old man was on it last!
  3. Some of the tackle. Amazone KE303 power harrow, Kverneland FXJ 245 flail topper, Lemken Smaragd 9 stubble cultivator
  4. A few more photos, took some round home over the weekend. No work going on though! First ones, the new 6030. Looking a bit grubby, was a touch wet ploughing the other day!
  5. That is interesting Gav..... so where to start - marketing or parts....? Anyone else want one if I can get hold of any?
  6. I'm still looking for those wheels Adie! I've now successfully located the pile in one of the barns, just need to go through the boxes now to find the right one. Will keep you posted. Then we can see how this 399 comes along. That's spurred me on into looking harder!
  7. Does anyone stock these, the Siku Terra Dos SP beet tanker lifter? It's listed on the Siku website but haven't spotted it in any UK dealer listings, G&M, Farm Models etc. Any ideas? Simon
  8. Really nice Sean, thanks for that, hinges look really neat, very professional job.
  9. That really is the way to do it, UH don't do half measures at all. As a little Englander, the only thing which disappoints me with UH is that, understandably, all their models are of continental European extraction. Be interesting to see their take on a 6930 or T6070.....
  10. Do you not worry that mighty big aerial could interfere with your animal health? Must get paid a whacking great wayleave for it though!Barn looking great. How did you do the door hinges?
  11. Excellent idea. When we moved to a small farm from the bit of land I was dragged up on we bought a DB 1390 4WD. Dave Towse does a nice 1490 but I quite fancy doing the 1390. Would like to build up a display of all our tractors over the years - give me somewhere to park everything after it moves off the planned diorama as they are traded-in in big scale. I've started doing it with the various Land Rovers and Discoveries I've had already. Be very interested to see how you get on with this one, I've had a couple of bids on 2294's on ebay already for the same purpose, and a Lonestar Marshall so it's reassuring to know I was looking in the right places! Get cracking and let's have some pics!
  12. Cold and blowy in the Marches too, need to inspect my part completed roof, plenty of blue sky but not braved a smoke yet!
  13. Ah, I wondered what had happened to Collins Trailers. We have 2 AW trailers, a '98 8t & an '07 10t. I thought AW had been around for longer than Collins hadn't but I must be wrong. And It's Salop trailers which are 'built' by the Marston Group now isn't it? There's definitely some Herefordshire roots in the teleshift though?
  14. Why not visit the KV website and download the product literature? From what I remember of selling them, it would be the ES or LD series you want to be looking at. Basically pillar box red and pea green, horrid colour scheme when you say it but looks smart in the flesh!
  15. Look a vast improvement over what went before. Still too long in the jib though, they never seem to crank the forward section down enough so they still end up looking like the early MF powerloaders. Modern loaders are mounted right back on the tractor and they have a steep angle on the front to reach down the longer bonnets of modern six pot machines. Really bugs me all the space between the bucket and the tombstone! But, getting better all the time. Any way of chaning the attachment or detaching the jib from the brackets?
  16. I like it. They were built not far down the road from me by Collins engineering, who then went on to just trailers but I think now they just do farm buildings - the Brightwells building at Leominster, Easters Court, is one of theirs I think. Only concern would be if enough people have had contact with them to make them desirable? I'd agree with FB, wouldn't have thought you'd struggle to sell 100 though. Money no object I'd have one, be spot on in a diorama of a Herefordshire dairy farm, couple of old Fords floating about, Howard Rotaspreader, Teagle chopper. Lovely!
  17. Will the loaders be any good this time or same old tat?
  18. If you actually take the photograph you automatically own the copyright and can do whatever you like with it - that's how the press get away with it. 'People' can withold permission for you to publish photos of them within reason, generally guardians of minors I think but not many others. If something is on public property or visible from it you can take photos without permission. If something is on private property which is not visible from public property and you are on private property too you really should ask, first to be there, second to snap. You can hang over roadside hedges and take as many as you like without asking, so long as your prepared for the awkwardness if anyone asks!
  19. T6070, ?17.50 from G&M. Haven't found them anywhere else yet.
  20. International 674. I know I said this in another post - not duplication Andy, promise - a friend started his contracting business with a 674 for around a grand. Was a super little tractor, good cab, bit more high tech and useable than your 'true classic' like a 135 etc, [i'm right there aren't I Marky - it's not just hype?!] plenty of power. If you want a toy for working days, shows and road runs, by an 'old fashioned' thing and love it. If you want a toy to get dirty and maybe even earn a few quid, go a bit more modern. What about a little Zetor? What are they like price wise these days?
  21. It was good but I preferred Classic Tractor as usual, too much scrap in T&M. Nice feature on a fleet of Cases in CT.
  22. Frantic acquisition of clapped out machines for the summer campaign! But smarting from getting gazumped by a dutch buyer oo an ertl 3350 on ebay U S of A. Swine.
  23. Nice one coxy, looks good. Well done. So what are you planning next?!
