  5. HI Nigel ive been painting and spray painting models for a few years now but im never realy satisfied with the final result ... im thinking of starting a scaledown model i bought but i was just wondering how to get the best finnish would you ever use spray or just paint also i dont know much about wet and dry and how to use it properly this would also come in usefull for any other scratchbuilds or conversions as ive spent so long getting the dimentions right and the models deserve the best finnish going so any tipp would be geatfully recived cheers nigel
  6. just arived today bought of ebay 31 quid i dont know if theyre on genral release in this ountry yet but shes a beut
  7. ive been racking my brains of a way to make them .....ild need an extreamly small drill to drill a hole in a virtual needle the use the thinnest pins as hangong hooks to slide the door into the holes if i can crack that i can scratch build the IH worldwide cab like in the real world and put the correct doors on instead of relying on the old ertl ih 784 cab and i think it would look better scatch building the cab frame and cladding it like in the real world i intend to do this by making a IH 454 useing a britains MF 135 chassis as they are quite similar with the subframe and size plus i can do a just ropps framed version i think constructing it mainly from scratch is the way to go the cab i mean then add the cladding on later even if it turns out perfect i might cast the frame to make more for the rest of the world wide range as ive now got the 784 cast chassis and the 135 chassis also ild love to make a ih 454 powerd standen cyclone a loader to go on another 454 too
  8. scratch building a cab and i want the doors to open atr there any hinges small enough or any tips on how to make the smallest 1/32nd hindges and hinging pins cheers nigel

  10. its a box that says IH 845 xl on the box but no limmited run so i would think they are unless they are a production mistake i realy dont know but i want one aand i will have one that style cab fender was on the doncaster 85 series and the 955 xl german first run of 955s i dont know if they were ever on the 956 at all maybee they were standard and the wider fenders were optional i dont know but ive modded that box u see on my post to look like a 885 it is actualy a an 845 xl will
  11. i hope replicagri do make an ih 885 xl ect as there has only been the ertl 784 from around the late 70s erly 80s era thats been done or the 784 in 1/16 a few years ago
  12. ive kinda changed the box to look like an ih 885 xl but as you can see its like the french show model limmited run but with the cab and fenders more like the doncaster built 885 xl with black fenders and i will be having one OR 2 of these models only available in hong kong at the mo
  13. Congrats mate did u do them yourself or order them in. Il send u those ih casts thusweek cheers nige
  14. i know we talked about other casts mate as im getting you those parts this week hope they keep you busy on the said floorpans im convinced casting them as a 3 part prodject is better i.e cast the left wing right wing then middle floor pan then glue or resin together after cheers nigel
  15. havent spoke to marcus for ages trissy or you mate give him my regards and i hope your keeping well to mate
  16. nice i plan on doing such a bale chamber with knives to get the gaged adges u get on the sides of conventional bales
  17. seen a hand bailer on youtube allot of work to do a bale but u could scale this down to a 1/32 or 1/16bale chamber im sure the knotting would be fidly but would look good in dioramers
  18. its a real shame there arnt more blu prints / flat pack models out there ild love the britains evedale farm from the 70s and if there was anyone gifted enough to do a whole range of cardboard cut out tractors like david brown 90s series to ford s ect the possablitys are endless i mean the combines have been done and a few tractors anythings possable
  19. now would be a lovely opertunity to bring out a revised version of the trailed forage harvester like a tarrup or reekie new holland from the 70s-80s we do have some good bale trailers so i think maybee a bamfords bailer would be reeal nice i ratherd them to the newholland for some strange reason maybee a welgar conventional bailer but ild love to see a two drum mower that folds up in transit with safety skirt and..... ild love to see a rear attatchable 3 point linkage like forklift to go on the back of the likes of the IH or ford 6600 to move potato pallets around
