Now that is a nice looking tractor and no surprise old Doc would be snapping it up......one question I noticed when u all seem to do your conversions many do not add "glass" and wondering why?
Thanks for bringing that up Rick .I had thought of it because theres plenty of cellophane about .I may put some in future conversions .

Thats a good idea with the transporter, impressive!
It wasn't my idea .My mate is a trucker and fanatical about corgi lorries .He had the transporter and it took about 12 months to amass the tractors .

Not bad, a bit of potential there for 2 quid. What would it be worth with a tidy up and paint job?
I sold 2 last year ,one for ?100 and the other for ?80

Ive not heard about the Wright Rain on a plinth before. Whats the story behind them?
I am not sure,I will ask my friend but I think its like the gold MB Trac an that its a special dealer model .

good job as ever Steve , ................memories? ? .I used top play with corgi? toys...had a fordson with some kind of rear digger the mf and hedge cutter? the mf with loader and another mf 165......played them to death and have no idea where they are now........prob long gone to the great scrapyard in the sky

Thanks John ,I enjoyed restoring these old ones .They were nice and easy to do and most parts are available as repros as well .

Thank you ,I did these over about 12 months .Most were bought from car boot sales and stripped down and repainted etc .I like theold masseys in their correct colours .The paints were all bought from Nigel at Scaledown Models .

The Leyland is a Dinky ,they made them in blue,orange and met red .Nice models .
