  1. Thanks rich, yep chassis is britains log trailer, few changes to this one, sprocket supports and log holding uprights are scratch built, also last section of the crane is shorter (because it was broken )
  2. They are tool carriers/municipal vehicles usually, popular for spraying and row cultivation, the thing you place in the middle (i.e the a tank) balances the machine, they aren't really a heavy duty machine.
  3. With nose tank. Need to touch up the wheels and some of the paint work a bit, add lights to the front and mirrors to the cab, might swap the exhaust to the other side, but can't be bothered
  4. My attempt at a Fendt GTA, based on a crappy Tesco farm toy, an old MX135 cab and floor (chopped a bit) and a few other pieces
  5. Felt like restoring an old FMV log trailer, maybe something like this exists in the real world....
  6. When I was very young, I broke a parker pen I found in my dads desk, to hide this, I decided the best way to dispose of it was to throw it over the garden fence...........come harvest time I was sh*ting myself that the combine was going to ingest it and blow up right outside our house P.s I do now realise this would not have happened
  7. Here she is, Old Mx135 cab, JD 7920 seat, mud guards shortened by about 7mm after cab, chassis chopped in places, siku front links and then resprayed, cab to be used is not shown as its masked up, green paint on monday, hopefully that will add to the realism....this is just a blagg but may make some more if it works
  8. Thanks a lot , I find that farmphoto is a great resource, but a painful one to search and often inaccurate/of poor quality or just no good for modellers, hopefully I can add to this over time as I go along. I sent the TC06 organisers a link and they have asked for a cd of the originals so thats good.
  9. Elevator is fine (had one before) identical nearly apart from materials to Britains, will be selling both elevators soon though, just don't need them Fendt GTA conversion is a goer - not a fendt cab though...more tomorrow!
  10. Last topic on this honest....just joined some clips together to make a little video Click to view
  11. Colour matters, I prefer to use a primer because if you have a mix of plastics/metal it gives a uniform surface for the paint but you'd probably get away without it using dark colours on metal.
  12. Don't suppose you've got any more grass headers yet?
  13. Via the p.t.o? Would it be mechanical or hydrostatic? This may sound a really simple question, with the hitch so near the "front" wheels and not centred, do the rears still follow the fronts?
  14. MF (or ferguson) probably took it, Ford second, Case IH had a good showing, County didn't do bad...need to see the arieal photographs or an entry list really
  15. Yeah, an amazing day, I hope they do it again but I doubt it. IF they do though, next time I'll be getting a photograph of each example there.....might take two days though
  16. Same engine though, 6578cc (looked that up ) yet the casting on the TW35 is no where near
  17. Yeah, anyone got any ideas? Silage trailer obvious respray, dolly trailer might look at new wheel arangement 1st tractor just tyres...unless anything else could be done Xylon alike...quite attached to it, got me thinking of a GTA, don't know how that would work though...got a spare 615 cab and floorpan knocking around but think thats too big to be realistic
