Wow that brings it back, presentations still feature largely in my 'back to school/college/uni' anxiety dreams! I never worried about falling asleep when my heart was going at 150 bpm!
Yesterday and a bit of today; no sooner than we get the water back then all of the sockets go in the house; no heating, computers, dishwasher, washing machine etc and no alarms: i was so late getting up on Saturday that I didn't have time to drop the pick-up off before they closed! Plus, I missed the Britains Valmet in Claas colours going cheaply on Ebay.
Britains-
Red+white Farmhand round baler
Blue/yellow vintage roll
Blue 1982 heavy roll
Highland steer
135 red cab and attached loader
Valtra Valmet 805 Industrial minus cab
Ahh to be a BT engineer in winter
Despite careful driving on rather light snowfall I had a van-on-van collision with our new postman at lunchtime, combined speed of only 20mph on a blind bend but wi left me with a broken light, peeling panel, cracked bumper, and a slight bend on the bonnet. He didn't have any parcels for me either!
Running after sheep again (moving fields); pulling a sheep feeder to same field (very heavy and one of the wheels came off ..); moving horses and ponies; de-icing water troughs; landscaping & cleaning up around a barn, and making a big bonfire. I'm exhausted now!
Pulling in to allow a car to pass (the only place for some distance) some daft bloke with his wife knock loudly on my window & remind me that this was their driveway enterance & to be careful, even though I was inching along (and they were determined to get in the way of the van). He even had the nerve to stop the other driver -who was nowhere near his drive- to give him an earful, as if he owned the road
Asside from the usual feeding bedding and mucking out, a bit of log splitting this afternoon:
A splitting log is a very satisfying sound isn't it Tris?
