The elevator is missing it's towbar and the decals might be reproductions. My animal trailer is now complete, having replaced the chassis and white floor with ones in better condition and adding the cow.

the price is certainly quite good. It looks to be in pristine condition, definately when you look at the rims which dont look discoulored at all. The decals look like replacements though. Nevertheless, congrats with your newest addition.. looking fine!
No I'm sure these are original, though there don't seem to be many with the '6600' at the back and 'Ford' in front (a quick search only revealed Bill's and this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370357817095&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT)

If the Major one is anything like the Bomford one my mate uses where I used to work then it will chew through anything.......so far he's had a dead sheep and a set of cambridge rolls through it that the game keeper left laying about, was only the frame left of them after he hit them, no damage to the mower either
:of :of I guess it pays to have a quick once round the margins before cutting starts, I would never dream of running a mover old or new over any of the above if I could help it!

I second that, this has been uncomfortable reading as it closely mirrors a recent personal tradegy of my own and am finding it equally hard to post. It's good to know you have folks around you in these sad days Sean and heart warming to read all the supportive posts.
Sincerest condolences,
Chris
