  1. I have two unopened milking parlours, and one boxed but mint sheep dip, all brought when younger for 6 or 7 quid price they were new, I think they are worth a bit more than that now.
  2. Oh I see you have a Human resource department, I would never let anyone call me a resourse as that tends to be something that you use up and is often expendable. That phrase really gets under my skin, its like something out of the book 1984.
  3. Great pictures Sascha thanks for sharing, I know Lincolnshire fairly well as its one of our neighbouring counties, although I live about a mile away from the Cambirdgeshire border, also been too RAF cranwell many times on work as the construction company I work for is building houses just on the very edge of the base, very close to the runway, you drive right through the centre of the base.
  4. Great pictures Bill, never seen a Ford 1900 before, I like the Int 955 the Ford 4000 and the Austin lorry are very nice, my uncle Fred who's an ex fireman had a fire engine version of the Austin K2 many years ago, I never knew what happened to it, but it was in nice condition. Thanks for sharing the pics Bill and your little cub looks a peach as usual.
  5. Great pics MB the shot with the 414 in the clamp looks almost real.
  6. All our major kitchen appliances are Hotpoint and all over 5 years old, they are all made in england as it says so on the front. Fridgefrezzer, dishwasher, washing machine and oven and hob. None have really been any trouble the washing machine (on at least twice a day) had a new door seal and the pump stopped on the dishwasher but when the engineer stripped it it had all plastic stuck in it from when my wifes idiot sister had loaded the machine with plates covered in the stuff. Even our central heating boiler has not been any bother (Ravenheat) made in England, thats 6 years old, not missed a beat unlike my friends Vailiant which at around 2 years old has been a constant pain, I could go on about my Rover cars and most of the furniture in my house but I wont bore you, I will just say I think it pays to buy British. Incidently my wife used to work in Bosch addmin and most of the people there wouldn't have a bosch appliance in the house.
  7. Great pictures Sascha those Fiats are very clean and tidy looking, the sunset picture with the irrigater is nice.
  8. That 4WD 135 is an absolute peach whats the the little motor to the left of the baler in the second picture?
  9. Went too Milton Keynes, beautiful place (NOT) to pick up my latest project a 2001 Rover 45 IXS 1800cc with supposed head gasket failure, but as is so often the case with this misunderstood engine I dont think it is, its super clean everything works and the tyres are all new except one, air con beautiful and cold, alloys mint, 10 months M.O.T and only 85,000. I could tell you the princely sum I paid, but then I would have to kill you, lets just say when its done I will let it go for around £800 which is well under the average asking price, and should still make a few bob.
  10. Excellent collection Andrew. I like the Milky way sets, never heard of those before, but I didn't like Milky ways so thats how I would have missed them, as Im sure Mum would have got them for me. Are you planning anymore purchaces.
  11. I love Britains my collection, and thats all I have ever collected and will collect, the older models from my younger days will always be the most precious to me (A silver cabed 2680 is my favourite) but after loosing there way in the mid to late 90's I personally feel Britains are regaing their form, I just wish they would hurry up with our bloody County.
  12. Haven't recieved the set yet Tim, but the seller said it is stamped 24th July 1995 inside box. I to have the riding school my example is only opened at one end and the contents is still completly sealed in its bags, I will have to look out for the show set.
  13. Haven't got it through the post yet, but I won as described a mint in box Britains eventing set, this will remain to be seen when it arrives, but it was £19.99 so a good buy and another Britains building to the collection.
  14. Nothing around my way looks ready yet, but its on the turn from green to gold so we are heading the right way.
  15. The little monkey will come out when he's/she's good and ready due dates are not an exact science, anyway they wont let it go on for too long before they will perform a cesarian, which my wife had for our first child Jack. Good luck and hope mother and child are well.
  16. Had a lazy day today for once, cleaned the car and helped the good lady sort out and throw away some of the kids 100's of toys which seemed to have swamped our conservatory even though its 18Ft by 12Ft, and finally had the time to catch up on here after a month or so absense, Ive had a few issues to deal with, loosing a man at work so we were short of a plant fitter so have been working all hours, My gramp passing away at 84, so he's had a good inings as they say, but we have had his house to clear and prepare for sale, and another serious issue which I cannot discuss at the moment, but will be able to divulge in time, rest assured its nothing to do with myself or my health or my family directly. Happy to be back in the fold and should now be on more often.
  17. Great pictures Jordan, the sappling planting scene is very nice, keep up the good work.
  18. Tell me about it, I had to slam on the brakes the other day to avoid flattening one sat in the middle of the road, flew of though.
  19. A blackbirds nest in the tree in our front garden, I made sure the parents were not around before I very quickly took these pics only 10 mins ago, sadly there were four in the nest but the female took one out of the nest as it was dead, it dropped right next to me as I was cleaning the car on Sat afternoon, the only thing I could think to do was put it down the road drain, I wanted it gone so as not to atract the attention of the local cat population, I have seen a cat wander past our house with a duck of all things in its mouth, big cat mind you.
  20. When I see vehicles running for any lenght of time on angles as extreme as that, it always makes me think about oil starvation in certain parts of the engine, I know that if you corner hard in a car that is admittedly low on oil the oil light usually flashes as the pump sucks air for a second.
  21. Yeah come on where is it. (you know how you can just go off some people)
  22. Massey set is nice, as you said you can get the animals easily. I like the little Ford 2120 and really need to get myself a boxed one as mine is sadly missing its box. Beginings of a good collection you have there.
  23. £25 at a push CMB and only because there is an indutrial MF135 in there but even that looks knackered.
