  1. Sorry missed the last pic, looks like the combine only just fits in the barn.
  2. Thanks for sharing the pics Pat, 2WD 4270 must be a bit of a rarity.
  3. I brought Britains only as thats all I collect, with the exception of the Magnum 180 Stars and Stripes from Ertl but I couln't resist that for £40 and its almost Britains. My expenditure of £200 seems pitiful compared to what others spent, but I always only take money I have earnt on the side to Spalding, that way there can be no accusations of wasting money on silly models if you see where Im coming from.
  4. Looks OK to me I think people just react to change, I for one never really like change, but it grows on you in the end. A classic example for me was when the second generation Range Rover came out around 1994/95 for a start I could not take to it as I was so used to the original, but after a while you take no notice, and now I would quite happily own one.
  5. Thanks Paul I will give him a try, would be nice to have it correct.
  6. I wonder if anyone does a repro Lely sticker as I would like to have it correct.
  7. Thanks Mand I was thinking of the horse box one which Im sure you will have seen, you could get two of those for that price.
  8. Links not working CMB, is it the one where he say's it sure to be the main talking point in any conversation? ;D The listing goes on and on and make quite amusing reading.
  9. The 6810 looks tidy but she looks like she needs some new boots particularly on the N/S/F, that crane is a bit of a beast i think its the same one they used for the Skeggy wind turbines
  10. Happy belated B Day Tris (dont forget to post up the pics of the shotgun I bet she's a beaut) and Cerin Happy birthday to you as well young man, I hope you got lots of new models and I hope you've had a great day aswell and also Happy birthday to Mr P Morrison.
  11. Two more purchases from Spalding I forgot to add to my collection thread, a haybob and hay rake, kindly modeled by a Ford and a Massey just to keep it even, they were both £5 each a steal I think, there was the blue and brown haybob for £5 aswell and Im kicking myself for not picking that up aswell :'( not my colours of choice red and yellow but its the rarer version.
  12. I thought the same thing Dwayne, Im not one for buying just as an investment but I think this could be an exception to the rule, so £79.99 works out to around £50 MMMMMMMM tempting.
  13. Only a fleeting glimpse as I did not have time or anywhere safe to stop, but I went to wellingborough today our nearest big town to have some hydraulic hose's made up and I saw a large bubble cabbed Ford in the field next to the road (through gaps in the hedge) it looked very much like the 8200 in the fleet profile in Mays Classic Tractor, which is based in or near wellingborough, think it had a power harrow on the back but the dust and the hedge stop 100% + identification.
  14. Just out of interest Dwayne, where did you get the Elvis JD from and how much, I had a quick look on E bay and they were all in the states with ridculous postage of around $30-40.
  15. Where is that price from? Is that for a gold plated diamond encrusted clutch? They are not that bad to do, I mostly take the engine out on afour wheel drive its often easier and quicker than mucking about with the transfer box and the like.
  16. Just updating my collection pics with my Spalding purchases and the latest E bay purchase.
  17. The TW has been very tastefully enhanced CMB, very nice buy, does she run? I see you have a Smallfords potato planter lady, she makes a good alternative tractor driver and has been doing sterling service in one of my Renaults for about the last 15 or more years.
  18. This came yesterday, Ebay purchase £15.00, now all I need is 40564 Land Rover and trailer, 40529 Playbase and 40886 Tractor and tipping trailer and I have the complete set, bar a few animal packs.
  19. Britains never went away, they just had a bit of a lean period starting in the late 90's with the likes of the Same Rubin and the Renault Cergos and in my opnion they started to get better when the MF 1505 and JD 7020 and the like came out around 04/05. The current stuff and the models on the way are a step up again from thses though, good for Britains I say, now just need to do something with the boxes and the stooopid bloody packaging, it would be nice to see an updated version of the Straw box, and a return to the blow moulded tray that fits around the tractor.
  20. Marky I will have to take you up on that, I didn't cross paths with you this year but I know I spoke to you if only breifly last year, next time I have day or two of work I will let you know, would be great to meet up.
  21. David that 6610 is and the 8210 is pukka to, very nice collection you have.
  22. Wished I had spent more time chatting and looking at the FTF layout, but I was very hot in there dont know why I had my coat on, and I think my nerves were making me sweat a bit, but as I said will grab the bull by the horn's next time and have a proper chin wag, it was very nice too meet you Tris.
  23. I think its just meeting new people for the first time, Im ok with Andy as I have spoken with him before, I was a little apprehesive when I first spoke to Tris so I may have come across a bit quiet but, I will wear my newly purchased FTF polo shirt in Oct, so hopefully people will speak to me. Hope to see you there JO, oh and I did breifly speak to Sue but I didn't get a hug. :'(
  24. Marky Hattie is a handsome looking beast, the front on shot with the loader down very nice, looks like a good day was had by all, I will have to try and make it next time its not the distance to you as I think its about 30 miles, its my shyness. :'(
