  1. Any information on Columbus release date? I'd agree, a period peiece post-Matador would be great!
  2. Tasty! I've just done a web trawl and can't find any pics at the mo. If anyone finds them, could they post a pic? Cheers
  3. Great model, got mine today. Is it just me, or do the teeth on the reel seem to face the wrong direction?
  4. Two side by side would look good. I'll position mine next to my Europa and MF. A number of visitors have commented 'are those to the same scale?'
  5. Thanks for this Joe! It really does look the business and I think I might treat myself to one at the Lakeland show on Saturday. Cheers again.
  6. I don't know if I'll take any photos, but I plan to attend. You're right, Bill, the weather looks hellish for Saturday so I may yet call off. I'll make my mind up at 0700 on Saturday!
  7. Nice piece of kit, do you not have a pic of it (or another similar) working in your website, NH?
  8. Yeah it was supposed to chuck it down but in the end it held off pretty well. JD6200 (Armer) and 6320 (with trailer). Thanks for the comments, light wasn't too great at times so colours a bit poor.
  9. Some shots from a day's worth of lifting fodder beet (yesterday) can be found below. The machine can lift one row at a time, but can travel at a relatively quick pace, emptying at the end of each row. A great piece of kit, relatively simple principle to lift the beet, but one mass of chains, belts and pulleys! Enjoy!
  10. I'm planning to head down early on Saturday morning from Fife. Sounds good.
  11. Went to the farm to get some shots of slurry spreading yesterday afternoon. Weather was rather showery, but nevertheless, I'm quite pleased at how well some of the phographs have turned out. Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of the sprayer in action with herbicide on winter wheat as spraying had stopped due to the rain by the time I was thinking about getting shots However, there is one shot of the gear parked up. Enjoy!
  12. Thanks for the gen, Bill. Sounds like a good issue.
  13. Wonderful footage there, NewHolland. Looks like a busy part of the country! Below are two photographs I took in NE Fife last week of the (animal fodder) bean crops being grown there. They'll be harvested by now or in the very near future.
  14. Excellent shots mate! I have some pix of the beans that go for animal feed (noticed they were about to be combined in Fife on Friday morning). I'll post these when I return home tomorrow.
  15. If I'm free I'd be happy to come and get some shots taken for you Bill!
  16. Yeah Graham, it's a lovely area. I moved to Fife over a year ago but this is just the third time I've been in this particular part. I really like how the fields steeply drop off to the edge of the Tay. Would make a wonderful harvest time photograph
  17. I was over near Longforgan between Perth and Dundee this afternoon and took some photographs of the Angus Soft Fruits fields there. One field had a very small notice attached to date advising no-one to enter as it had been sprayed with sulphuric acid...the sign was easily missed but was very faded and had obviously been there for some time. I took the shot below of a large tank at the side of the field. Can anyone tell me why acid would be used? To prolong the life of the fruit? Any ideas welcome!
  18. Beautiful day, after rather soggy conditions yesterday! The photographs were taken at a small village called Gauldry, not far from the Tay Bridges (Dundee can just be seen across the Tay in a few shots). The field was being harvested on Sunday, presumably nothing was done yeterday owing to the weather, so I decided to return today for some shots. Face, camera and hair dust covered with the strong westerly blowing dust into my face from the haulm topper! And finally, a nice landscape shot, near Balermino, looking over the inner Tay Estuary to the Perthshire hills and Carse of Gowrie:
