  1. Didn't see it in action, but may well return in the coming weeks to see if I can
  2. A shot from yesterday near Flanders Moss, Stirlingshire:
  3. Softrak with collection box and front-mounted JF flail forager cutting rushes at Vane Farm beside Loch Leven today. Nice bit of kit!
  4. Any news on a release date for the Grimme spud harvester?
  5. Yep, that's where I though too. Usually UH provide a shaft though
  6. Claas Quantum baler - the left hand side rear wheel doesn't touch the ground but floats about 2mm off it.
  7. I'm still puzzled over that Grimme - from one of the shots, it does look like a PTO gearbox is present...I'm presuming it's definitely not land-driven after all?
  8. Outstanding models. Wonder which tractors the Fella will fit on, maybe just the Deutz with the mounting frame?
  9. Does anyone have the rough dimensions of this model? It looks the business, but may be a bit big for my display cabinet!
  10. I love UH models to bits, but has anyone noticed how the quality control seems to be going t*ts-up recently? :'(
  11. Yes, mine is rather like this too. When you lift the mower, move a bit to the right and it should stay up - think there must be a pretty small locking catch on it.
  12. Re: Grimme How did it function as there doesn't appear to be a PTO - hydraulics or land-driven?
  13. Absolutely superb. Thanks for posting these great pics.
  14. That's a big one (as the actress said to the bishop)
  15. Not seen any feathered friends on here, so here goes. Responds to the name of 'Cheeky' or 'Shut up' or any other verbal abuse flung at it! So far, has quite a good vocabulary - also manages to make farting noises, copy the telephone ring and other machine noises and has a fondness for mobile 'phones. It actually managed to get onto the internet by playing with the toggle switch on my new Nokia!
  16. As promised, here are some photographs of the Matador. I have placed a Europa alongside one of the shots to give a comparison. Furthermore, I've also included a shot of the sloping engine block! Apologies for the slightly blurred photographs. I still think this is a superb model, but the tines are definitely not in the same orientation as the Europa.
  17. Hi guys I'll take a few more shots later tonight, but the central wheel isn't dead in the centre of the reel. The engine block is also not level. I'll post some more here later.
  18. I raised this point a while back...I bought mine from a well-known supplier, what should I do?
