  1. The only think I find with some Siku stuff is that it's almost a caricature of the real thing, particularly any piece of equipment with wheels. Just a personal opinion.
  2. I've notcied this with some UH, what is it, some kind of spray applied to the finished product...?
  3. Ran into a bit of a problem attaching this to the UH Renault. The top link on the tractor has a hole, but it needs to be like the bottom two links so that the mower can just sit on the link. The instruction sheet with the mower shows a top link which doesn't have a hole, but is clasp-like. I got round this by using a staple (!), flattening it out, and using this to go through the hole on the top link and through two holes above the bar originally intended to be clasped by the top link, thus holding the top link firmly attached to the mower. Having said this, it looks the business!
  4. Got this excellent model through today from Little Toy Farmer...superb detail, a really nice addition to my display. Now there's the problem of what to attach it to. Will it only attach to the two tractors displayed at the start of this thread or are there others? I'm looking at UH tractors only - the linkage on the Fendt 209 and Zetor Promina looks a little different to that on the UH Renault, but will the model still fit? Anyone in the know? Thanks in anticipation.
  5. Hi Bill - I hope to come along, although I think I'll try for the Saturday this time as things were much quieter on the Sunday last year. We'll arrange a meet up nearer the time.
  6. Thanks for the pics, Nick. Always nice to see nature in action!
  7. Thanks for the information, but I don't have a tractor for it to fit onto...can feel a sale coming up to provide funds
  8. Thanks Texas - hopefully they'll appear at UK stockists soon.
  9. Any companies stocking it yet?
  10. More superb pics - thanks for sharing!
  11. JCB Fastrac with front and rear mounted Claas Disco butterfly mowers heading down the A7 near Stow in the Borders yesterday evening.
  12. Yes, I feared about pointing that out, especially in the context of 'mowing' ;D
  13. Wonderful shots, really atmospheric...looks great weather over there!
  14. Thanks for posting, some great shots there!
  15. Thanks guys, yes, it was mowing at a fair speed which made taking some of the shots a challenge (and I needed to have my wits about me!)
  16. I genuinely didn't read the thing about 6 photos per post, honest guv!
  17. Beautiful day up here in Scotland - was passing through South Lanarkshire and stopped to get some shots of some silaging work near Biggar. Managed to get some pretty good photographs, but the sun was a bit of a nuisance (!) being in the wrong place for some shots I had planned. David the contractor was very obliging and enabled me to get some otherwise tricky shots. Thanks!
  18. The clarity of the photographs is superb - what kind of camera do you use?
  19. Absolutely brilliant photographs! Some really nice scenes there.
  20. Thanks for the pics, Bill - a shame I missed it, but you've got some great shots in any case. Some nice machines there!
  21. Found a pic of the real machine -- doesn't look as far away from the front of the tractor as the UH model \
  22. Where's the PTO shaft from the tractor to the mower?
