  4. Im intrested in creating models of two peices of Irish Engineering. The first is the Malone Trojan MT52 Forage Wagon. The second is the Malone Procut 960.I have ideas for both but another opinion may prove better.
  5. Its being released Tuesday at The National Ploughing Championships.Ill be getting it no doubt.I agree with you about the name on everything surly a bit of signwriting on the harvester and the combines would be enough?
  6. Just been sorting out 2 weeks work expeirience for school.1 week in the Local JD dealer and one week in the local NH dealer.
  7. Personally I'd like these New Holland T6000 with tge proper cab and mudguards off the T7060 and some bigger boots. Volvo L90F/Volvo L110F with a range of attachments such as a Bale handler,Folding silage pike and a high tip beet bucket. McHale Fusion would be nice especially if its the new design. A resonable sized but detailed plough some thing like a 4furrow. Some older implements such as Ransomes conventional ploughs,Parmiter disc harrows and some old silage gear like trailed harvesters such as a Taarup 10x or a pottinger mex 6 and 8 and 10 ft mowers instead of the 11'6" John Deere 535 that ye currently offer. A few more older fords wouldn't amiss and neither would an Armer Salmon beetharvester
  8. The 3rd All Ireland Diecast Show is planned for the October Bank Holiday Weekend,The 27th and 28th.It will be held in the same venue as the last two years just outside Mitchelstown Co.Cork.For more information visit http://www.modelmania.ie/ I will be there with my new display which I will start a topic about in the diorama section. So if you recognise me be sure to call over for a chat.Is there anybody else heading to it?
  9. I`m`a Ford man through and through but if you are going to buy a more modern tractor I would seriously reccommend Valtra/Valmet.My cousin runs an 8050 and a T150.Ive spent quite a fews hours on the 8050 and couldnt fault. Its a 97 and has 15000+ hours on the clock but no matter what kind of a morning you go out to it it will start. The gearbox is kind of confusing at the start but once you get used to it its grand. Its quite comfortable and certainly seems to pull much better than its claimed 115hp.(Pumps never been touched and shes never been turbod or chipped). She also does 50k on the road. The T150 which is a `07 spends most of its time on a 10'6" Taarup Mower but has been chipped to 180 at the shaft and will be kitted out with a front linkage and a 8' front mower very soon.
  10. Looks sweet Dom.Do put a straight pipe on it what id be the price on it?
  11. Is there any chance considering that they are from 1925 that the 8725 is the date they were made as in the 8th of July 1925 (8/7/25) or is it just a complete coincidence
  12. Looks sweet What are the front wheels and axle off?
  13. Does any body know when the 4 clyinder 10 series are due out
  14. My nine year old brother broke the header on my Siku 600 so I shortened the header to replicate a 20 ft header. What I wanted was a lexion that wouldnt look too big on a 20Ft head but was much the same as a 600 I wad wondering if there was one that would suit
  15. I was wondering if there is any Lexion that is smaller than the 600 in power but with the same physical size
  16. Thats amazing Sean.Planning a few trailers myself at the moment and was wondering what you use for rams and where do you get them
  17. Ive never seen a telehandler or a tractor with a front mounted buck rake here.I see alot of fellas saying that a Tractor and buckrake are king but there no good when you have to make a pit on a silage pad with no walls. Then theres men that will swear by JCBs or Komatsus but the only thing to make a proper pit that will make the best silage is a Volvo. For instance a JCB 434 is 230 hp and 14 ton but a Volvo L90E is 160hp and 16 ton.The objective of a pit is to compact the silage so it will firtie and create the best silage for cattle at the end of the process.A L90 is well cable of this because of its 16 ton.Of course if you put a 434 next to an L90 the 434 would fly past simply because it is 2 ton lighter and 70 hp more.Any loader with that setup is obviously going to fly up the pit and be "well able to keep away from a big self propelled" but that is not the point of making a pit.In the end of it all it comes down to a good pilot but a man with 20 years expeirience on a Volvo would take some beating in making a good pit. *Note:Volvos L110 is the same power as a JCB 434 but 8 tons heavier at 22 ton making Volvo the better pit machine
