Put a 16ft gate in down the lane near the village,...........took out a rough old bit of hedge,gateposts in, fences re-done,gates hung, entrance dug out and stone and topping put back down,....job done. Methinks the parish council bush telegraph is red hot at the moment............

Planting hedges,.........one of the most boring jobs there is........

You cant beat a good jacuzzi......... My laugh for today was this evening at the hospital,sitting in the waiting area with countless other people, fairly quiet, kept hearing a "meaow...meaow" about once every 90 seconds.Everyone kept looking at everyone,...you know how it is,...thinking "what bugger is taking the p*ss",......this went on for about twenty minutes until two of us got a bearing on where it was coming from. Directly above my seat,..looking through the ventilation grille, was a bloody cat... Would have loved to stay and see the outcome,....was quite funny seeing one manager phoning a superior then another ,and so on,......when I left there were about ten different senior managers scratching their heads over what to do about it. One chair, a phillips screwdriver and a bedsheet would have done the trick.........

Seeing the sun shining this morning,......had forgotten what it looked like.....

Not sure yet Mike,....they dumped it about a mile away from here and my brother has gone to meet the police and may find out a bit more,.....if we'd had a fire extinguisher we would have put it out no problem cos we missed them by about half a minute I reckon....

Just had a mitsubishi L200 racing around one of our fields,...time we got there they had taken 50yds of fence out while sliding down a bank into another field which they rammed the gate open onto the road. Time we caught up with them, they had dumped it and torched it. What a waste of an 04 plate truck..
