  1. some chaps do opperate both at the same time , they have a jocky wheel on the front of the topper fitted to a sensor, when a rise in the ground occurs the sensor lifts the topper till the obstruction has gone or the ground levels out but then most of this sort of work is the straight forward motorway or dual carridge way work the standen statesman tow i used to use was fitted with this type of sensor switch for harvesting parsnips
  2. jd header or not , i'd have thought they would be looking at a kemper header for maize , one that fits any of the foragers they produce

  5. have used both mustard seed & coco pops/ & rice crispies , & the mustard seeds are better , the coco pops & ricecles are a better size for beet crops , sugar beet & fodder beet

  11. nice pics kev , i knew she was red underneath ! just give her T cut & a polish mate , it may not bring her up like new , but at least it will give a bit more protection please,please,please , dont be tempted to rub her down for a respray, or even worse hand painted

  15. not offered in england but a big seller in belgium by all accounts , have seen one as a static display for real at the dorset steam show many years back
  16. didn't sell as well here as abroad ,but there are / were a few about , the one i used was well beat about, used as much oil & water as it did fuel the other rareity from the 700 series range was the 5700 ,well underpowered
  17. co-co powder / drinking chocolate is ok as you use it , but if not cleaned from models afterwards it goes damp & sticky & very difficult to remove

  21. it doesn't drive at the moment mate as it's in bits but it's all there , it has the VQ cab & a beast of a loader fitted to it , a browns F12 if i recall rightly
  22. ah thanks mate , 575 would be the obvious answer, though it does look a bit on the small side , looking at the hubs on the front axle, it may well be a 565 4wd conversion . 4wheel traction axle maybe ?
