  1. you really are going to town with this one then
  2. i bet you havn't stopped smiling yet ;) handy thing to have about eh ? 3600 would have struggled....................nay....................... failed :D
  3. good luck with the glass mate ? my windows stay shut ? to keep the dust out ? going to try & make some cab glass for mine using laminated plastic sheet
  4. in reply to your PM sean , that looks a lot better as they did look strange beasts in 2wd . Why cut he weights off ? here you go MCM http://www.britains-tractors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5518.0
  5. i personaly think the 3000 bonnet is deceiving as your trying to match bigger wheels to suit the size , does mine look that bad TM? , we would then have a matching pair , get the same number plates as well :D
  6. the size suits it ,very well done tm I LIKE THAT ALOT ? :)
  7. i can't really comment as mine is done but it should have the standard rears on as it will be too big against the others, i think it hard to tell with that 3000 bonnet on as well well happy with mine . as the wheels i used i think do it justice enough ,it looks just like the one i used to drive ........................ungainly :D :D
  8. boredom till i think of the next thing to mangle? :D maybe get one of the verdstat ? clod breaker rollers fixed to the back of my superflow ? must admit i'd like to build another MDF shed when time allows?
  9. any pics NH2 ? have yet to order mine as will wait till it's stamped before i dirty them all up
  10. coming alog nicely deer-est but are you really going to put stadle stones at the bottom of the uprights?
  11. thanks martin ,looks like i missed TM on here tonight but will catch up tomorow to see how he's getting on with his . mine took aprox 45 min to do, decals & all
  12. better get the right driver then & keep the equipment to the highest standard , if your machinery isn't up to scratch or the driver is too lax & he gets stopped by the VI, your neibour is going to be held accountable & if really unfortunate he could well have his opperators license suspended ,or worse revoked . \
  13. thanks deer-est ? is that your phrase for today marky, 'spot on' :D :D ?that 200 drawbar ring's going to get some pounding if you want to keep hitching 100+ to it , i think you'll find the sales leaflet had the 2720 sporting a pre-filter & not the tower version like the one shown on the 2725
  14. don't know yet as am really tempted to go we'll have to see how the cash flow is going ,or stopped as the case may be . i'll give you a shout to be sure when i know nearer the time . i think TM is trying too hard with the wheels as they never really suited 2wd in my eyes ,too gangly, \& as for it being hitched up to the 200, then you'll just have to send it back for a photo session or you'll have to super impose it using photoshop :D but it would look better than that siku thingy
  15. saw TM's 2640 & thought i'd better finnish mine off as well . front axle is from a economy ford 6600 wheels from one of those little blue cargo trailers & the decals done with the 'paints' programme i'll keep the landini grill on it though just to remind me not to break up things i shouldn't? \ next thing to attempt is to put glass in the cab using laminatsd plastic sheeting ,but when that will be lord only knows . i think these front wheels look OK as the real tractors always looked a bit ungainly with the 2wd option.
  16. finnished off the 27 today by adding the big pre-filter that sat up front of the bonnet with these tractors
  17. In my opinion TM you should keep the original rear wheels on TM as it will look bigger than the original 2680 & maybe use the britains single axle tipping trailer wheels for the front ,other than that it looks OK
  18. yeah , that always frustrated me as well ,as when they bought out that model of forager,(loosely based on a deutz fh 900 i think ) british farms were mostly using double chop machines so a precision chop would have been a natural progression. The ammount of maize grown was negligable back then. It must have been nearly 15 years at least till the JAG 690 came out . very rarely saw a silage pick-up wagon round here , there are a few but not many.
