  1. In Ireland you get a 'provisional' tractor licence at 16, and you can keep renewing it. You can do a tractor test, but most people wait to pass their car test, when you automatically get a full tractor licence. I first drove on the road when I was twelve, but I certainly wouldn't want to see a system where that sort of thing was normal or acceptable, it's just too dangerous on the roads these days and machines are so much bigger and faster. I always wanted to do that, but sadly never did . I suppose I was half afraid lads would nick bits off the tractor
  2. Just when you thought they couldn't get any better!! This is what we need, good, detailed arable tackle to go behind our tractors. Roll on the release date!! :)
  3. Must have got picked up by the buckets. That things so huge it wouldn't even notice....

  5. Amazing!! A D8R is not a small machine! :o
  6. I think you'd be looking at a Classic Combines or Dad's Tractors type job there tm190, to match the detail in the base model.
  7. It can be very difficult to glue metel together or glue anything else to metal. I usually try to avoid doing it, but if you cant avoid it, try to rienforse the joint somehow, maybe embed a screw or a piece of wire in the joint to get a good grip on the glue
  8. Fantastic photos Alan, keep 'em coming. Any chance you could repost the very first ones sometime as they seem to have gotten lost. I'd love to see the ones of the Conor pass, been up there a few times and its pretty scary!. I'm guessing you go through Castleisland to get to Limerick? I was down there lately and drove the Limerick road which is one hell of a road now. Anyway good luck with the new job and keep that camera busy

Tyro Toys in Germany are the only ones I know of, but at ?505 and with a maize head, its a bit expensive . http://www.tyrotoys.de/en/index.php?PHPSESSID=388f1cd33ee831df3acb7f69d460c7a3 If you really wanted a grass head one maybe you could use the Norscot Class pickup (available seperately) to convert it?
