  1. Will be doing sloe gin in the coming weeks again Traci made five jars of plum during the week and today with my Mums raspberries she is making a raspberry and cream Swiss roll Today we got the sleepers dug in around the new lawn which we laid on Wednesday night as Tracis Dad had a load of turf left over from a job. I'm not doing the world famous Fry's Spag Bol - lashing of Port among other very secret ingredients :)
  2. Mmmmm maybe it will come with both headers then. ... That'll be a stealer if it does! :of
  3. Yes indeed, we have some really in the know guys on here who will be sure to help you. A number of scales fall into different peoples expertise so I am sure you will find some answers. What do you collect as a rule or are you selling your models and leaving the hobby?
  4. Nice job, Paul. Much better look to it now, the Britains wheels are so plastic looking. A little bit of thought and some time and a new look can be made.
  5. Wow, that is a real nice model you have made. I like the details added to the front and the rear of the tractor 8) I also like the background
  6. Nice conversion to end with . .. I can see these things take a lot of time and you are a busy family man so now and then models must be put aside. .. I know this won't be the last one we see you build though.... :)
  7. It's highlighting the theft of agricultural machinery in the UK, Nick. It won't be used for chasing crims or anything but for raising awareness by catching peoples eye.
  8. Ha! You're right though, proportionally it is the better of the two going by the photos at least.
  9. That is a chuffing smart model!!!! It looks huge too, a real power house. The painted nuts on the wheels are a nice touch Johny. 8)
  10. Why are the two bottom photo's of different tractors? Is one of the Britains and one of the UH because the bottom one is the better looking replica in my opinion.... \
  11. The Newray MAN isn't too bad, it's those hideous plastic wheels they use that really spoil them. I stretched one and made it a 6x2, didn't look too bad really. It's on here somewhere. I'd like to see Siku extend their truck range and trailers to suit
  12. It can be done that way Ben but usually with the forager on the back and the trailer on the front - then the tractor is driven in reverse drive format. This problem with the Kemper maize header from Britains was that it had no chopper, blower or even a spout. It was just the rotary header. It should have looked like this (in wholecrop here):
  13. Oooh 'eck I'll steer clear of Craven Arms now too!! Well done Rich, good for you mate
  14. They have one of the contracts moving the CAT pivot steer dumpers from the factory 'oop narth' to the docks. I was chatting to one of the drivers one day in Southampton docks when I was unloading a Case Puma there. He backed an artic dumper off without hardly a glance in the mirrors. ... as they were folded in! Second nature to him I guess. He has an MAN tga XXL. Like the mode (again!), nice to have a brand done as per the real one. Shame the MAN has not been made available without the R/C.
  15. I picked up an MF50D digger yesterday from Bow in Devon and on it was a sticker from these guys having supplied it new!
  16. Bit better spirited post from you Jordan, keep on in there mate. Something will crop up. . .. that was not an intended pun but it seemed to come to me organically.. .. oh crap, there is another one.
  17. That's another great post and a very helpful offer. I'd take that offer straight up!
  18. You have not been swimming in The Thames with David Walliams have you or. . . No . . . are you? Can't be . . . . Surely? You're not David Walliams?
  19. Sat in the corner with a lap blanket. . Did you say toss? I thought he was trying to get rid of a spider. . .
  20. Very nice indeed. Really smart looking building
  21. Well done, Sue. Breath a sigh of relief now Sean no doubt. (Does she still believe you work for BT?!! We all know you bought that van off of Swanley and pretend to go to work ya know!!!  )
  22. Spot flipping on!!! Now the chaps have seen this done, they'll be off down to Scania to order a new truck!!! Is the bloke doing the challenge doing it on a 135? Think I saw him on the A30 a fortnight ago. .. .. must have just made it to Exeter now I should think!!
