cool id love to try it out above my house, id have serious difficulty carrying it in some areas, wait for another couple months ill take some pictures of a mountain pass that we carrying some of our stuff up its a serious shortcut between the two nearest towns to me which is good but theres only about a foot to spare between a sheer cliff and a sher 300 ft drop on the other side its called the conor pass, its quite famous for tourists and very busy in the summer so we always have to carry the stuff up very early in the morning. my fan belt broke on it 2 years ago and i had to stop, blocked the whole road for two hours before our mechanic could come with the new belt. bringing the harvester up this pass would make a great add for Claas!

there would be some look9ing if that yoke passed over the road in front of my house!!! do they break it up into seperate parts for road transport Oli?

its easy to take grass from a chopper out of the pit as its precision choped so each blade of grass is only a few cm's long on the other hand the grass from the wagons is alot longer and therefore sticks together and gets tangled so that trying to cut it from the pit is very labourous and time consuming. we too use a loader on the pit and i assure you the guy loading for us is as good as anyone out there if not better, its actually a fact that my boss wins alot of his silage jobs done to the experience of the guy on our pit and hed be considered the most important guy in our fleet

theres a few machinery suppliers situated right next to me, one of them had too strautmann forage wagons in his yard just before last summer one of them was actually bought by a contractor in Kerry have actually seen it working a few times he got 4 in total but the rest are profi, they worked out very well for him in his first year based on that he bought the strautmann but i know he lost a lot of acres again ilast summer. one of the big problems farmers here claim that its nearly imposible to get the grass out of the pit from the wagons because its not chopped enough, one guy said he went through about so many shear bolts on his silage grab that he lost count!!!

this is a competition to see who has the nicest machinery outfit in relation to various aspects of farming. there is no prise other then the nicest Kit title although we'll cover various areas the first round will deal with cultivations for cereals. So post up pics of the gear ye use on your model farms be it using plough or minimum tillage methods, as every farm is different with different policies!!!! on your first post say how many acres your farming and mention the tractor lineup, and try to keep it realistic, pretend finance is an issue on your farms once all the pics are up ill organise a vote, so entries for the comp will close on the third week of April..... gives everyone a bit of time to sort out the best setup. Please dont comment on anyones pics till after the closing date as it has the potential to run off topic So start posting

Luke i wouldnt put any thing o nthe front of her just for change, think she looks beautiful the way she is. theres a baling contractor around my way with a tm 150 and and welger rp 220, very like your setup there two beacons and all.......... if it was me anyway id leave it the way it is, maybe get a tool box and handrails thought to really finish it as well as the mudguard exensions

another thing may be those glasses holders you can get, you know the glasses are ment to just slip into them, but they look kind of kanvasy if you were to cut it to fit it onto the cab??

this guy as a couple of the 3000 series tractors and a 6910 he got last year, the best of the rest are 3 110-90 fiats after that it gets a bit messy. this is one of two of these trailers the rest are rough out, wish i took more pics last time i saw them shud get round to it this summer though
