    JD 8420t

ya its an interesting one i guess, but its really aimed for the larger farmers contracors who have alot of work for a tracked tractor i soppouse, so prob wouldnt be worth there while, but it would be handy if it could be done relatively easily

i much rather the 8050 series that came before that shape, only troble with the older one was the hitch was located very far under the tractor so you didnt have much room to lock into the drawbar which was a right pain at times especially going anywhere half tight, as far as i know they have corrected that problem on these?
  12. you actually had the right idea in the start fp, think some of the other guys got a bit more into it though, but as you say the standards are set now and if we can make more finite rules next time it should be easier on everyone

  17. ok lads, which one did you like the best or appealed to you the most, of course remember we are all winners really , but seriously though the idea was to see what machinery you use on your farm and to justify your use of that machinery, so when yere making yere decisions ye should base it on that mainly more so then detail of the models etc thus making it fairer on everyone so they are judged on the same grounds if ye think this one went well and want to do another one in a few weeks time with silage machinery we can get posting again
  18. yep were al winners alrite ok so ill have the poll on here for this evening
  19. the smaller models in this series up as far as the 8130 i think had bonnets like the 6180, but as they got bigger the bonet started to slope more.
