  1. Just seen the article on FWi about the new Case's and it's interesting that they don't expect to sell many wheeled versions of the highest HP models in the UK as they reckon they need triples on to properly get all that power onto the ground. How long before a blue quadtrac comes out - ever? Never? I might have to make a custom 1:32 version when Ertl release an updated model.
  2. and the whale: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=257267&id=121713985836&l=599c9ec576#!/album.php?aid=257309&id=121713985836 so anyone going to have a go at custom building one in 1/32?
  3. ...and some more photos on the book of face: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=257267&id=121713985836&l=599c9ec576
  4. Anyone know why none of the farming press haven't covered any of these launches yet? Presumably I guess because the official Uk launch hasn't happened yet...rather sad that they don't actually report the latest news.
  5. A lot of similarities between the prototype pictures and the new 8Rs
  6. No doubt I'll upset some Case fans but I'm not liking the styling on the magnums - the nose is just massive! I think I'd buy the New Holland and paint it red if I was after a magnum...they're the same underneath the bonnet anyway!
  7. I think these have just been launched in Prague - anyone seen any pictures? Interested to see how similar they are to their Blue cousins (or possibly twins...). Seems to be a busy time for new tractor releases at the high hp end - Fendt, NH, Case and John Deere.
  8. How does the ros and replicagri 110-90 compare - is there a clear winner?
  9. Not sure if this has been posted - but video showing updates for 2011 to the John Deere 8R and 8RT series.
  10. I definitely thought the same when I first saw it - but seems to be growing on me. Definitely better looking than the latest magnums, which are properly ugly beasts.
  11. Any updates on this prototype? In these pics I think JD has adopted some of the car manufacturers techniques by masking the proper look e.g. The black paint of the grill doesn't cover all of it and spreads across multiple panels - pretty unusual that and prob part of the reason it looks a bit ugly!
  12. Anyone heard anymore on these - after the picture appeared in profi?
  13. Looking at the US site, I think the number relates to the max HP not the rated HP (which is more like 330HP for the T8.390 I think)...possibly slightly cheeky of NH. The biggest T9 is the T9.670!!
  14. I think I must have been wrong about them launching today as no sign of anything on the FW or FG websites...is it common practice to launch in the US before the rest of the world? In fact NH UK seem to still be pushing the T8000 and T9000s as there is a press release from 31st talking about how good they are! Perhaps they've got surplus stock they want to shift first...
  15. Unveiling at the farm progress show this week:- Quite a lot of other videos on You Tube now from New Holland - tier 4 engines with Ad-Blue, Sidewinder armrest, Supersteer axle has gone (surprise surprise), longest wheelbase in the industry apparently... Also a couple pictures of them in action: http://www.thecombineforum.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=tractors&thread=24133&page=1#194043 I'm guessing they are launching tomorrow in the UK to coincide with the Farming Press - FW and Farmers Guardian.
  16. With UH doing the Ford 7810 and the Massey 3080 and now Britains with the 1056xl then we just need someone to do a nice JD 3350 and we've got a great late 80s 100hp foursome.....I guess it would be most likely to be Britains who would do a 3350 based on licences and previous castings (Ertl)?
  17. I'm wondering if you could create a T8 by taking a magnum and converting with some custom parts?
  18. http://agriculture.newholland.com/us/en/Products/Agricultural-Tractors/T8/Pages/Products_overview.aspx Looks like the pages are still being updated as some references to the T8000s in there still.
  19. The 3070 did have a slightly shorter wheelbase than the 80 and 95....but not many would probably notice!
  20. Just a nice range of late 80's ~100hp tractors then....lets hope they get a JD licence and do the 3350 as well, and a nice CaseIH 1056 too!
  21. Was the 3000 series made in Coventry or Beauvais in France. If it is Coventry, then UH seem to be doing a nice run on ~100hp British built tractors from the late 80's...
