  1. Discs coulters John - I thought you were looking at tines - have heard good reports about the Weaving drills you were looking at especially when you compare price tags ;)

Glad to see that demo then - will I come over with the 3600 and MF 30 :D :D

This year showed that tines wouldn't have worked.........still need some kind of cultivation and discs to get through trash. Most Vaderstad drills were parked up a lot of the time and Prontos never moved........ :(

John, whats that ugly red thing doing on your land??  :D;)

    Marky's not in any pics  ??? ??? ;D ;D

    even better massey  :P  :D

    Shhhh! It was chipped  ;);D

  2. It can't be wet John, the sun is shining! :D That's what we were told during the summer. Nice pics all the same, how much have/had you to do?

Only 19 acres left to do - at the moment.  :D

real nice tractor john! would take me about a year to work the controls but :D how did she handle the wet ground today? ???:)

Went well in spite of having wide-ish tyres on, but the really wet bits, nothing would make a decent job.  :)

Raw looking country. What will you do too it next John?.

Leave until end of Feb, early March to get a frost mould (and dry out hopefully  ;D) and then Spring Barley

  3. John, what is gone wrong - on here at 11am :D :D

Slightly wet there eh, ploughing rather deep too :D :D

I think you need to get the 35 out there :D :D

SQC Inspection today (Yawn) paperwork and wasted day  ;D

Ploughing at 9" set depth, but coming out about 11" after plough wheel sinks  ;D

    Bloomin' wet, Bill!

  4. Sorting things out and found these of a drill I had a demo of a few weeks ago. good drill with a decent sized hopper....downside is the power harrow is more or less part of it so has to be bought too. It was quite sticky that day but still made a reasonable job.  :)

  5. Unless you have lots of industrial customers I can't see this being a winner - can you encourage your farmer customers to bring the plastic to you by you offering them a cheaper rate ???

I haul my plastic 15 miles once a year - no charge for clean white plastic (fert bags etc) and charges £80/tonne for dirty and coloured plastic (Nitram bags/silage wrap)  Think I only had 600kg in total last year, but it filled the grain trailer.  :D

No big deal at the moment although soon I made need a licence to move it  :(
