  2. Managed to find this model being sold recently A VERY rare model indeed!
  3. Got a few more updates to this topic to make tomorrow Has anyone else found any more variations recently?
  4. The Ford is always popular, some making over £100 but I would guess £50 to £60 if your looking to get a good deal? Valmet would be similar, if your buying from mainland Europe, it will probably cost you more than it would, if buying from the UK.

Where did you find that Tim? Pecks?
  6. Competition Winners as in the table below Some interesting results there. I was suprised to see Marge Models win to be honest, but it was very very close. Similarly, Britains JUST missed out with the MF7480. Thanks to everyone who voted. In the upcoming issues of the magazine, I will be presenting the winning manufacturers with the awards.
  7. Haha, I think I am fine up to a combined towing weight of 3.5 tons. I would need to take a towing test for anything above that.
  8. Not so much a purchase as it was donated to us by my partner's dad but we are now wobbly box owners just need a vehicle to tow it!
  9. I spoke to one of the shop managers yesterday. The event tomorrow is more of an "open day" event rather than show. David Pullen will be there signing some of his books, I will be there representing FTF and Model Farmer, and I will also be taking a few older models to sell to add something different. I'm not sure if there will be anything else there. They will be showcasing their new farm layout I think too, if finished.
  10. Winners will be announced once the next magazine is out. A few suprises in there, but a very interesting outcome all the same. Thanks to all of you who voted. We had just under 500 in the end.

  12. The values at the recent Vectis sale caught a few people by suprise. I think this went for £100 plus.
  13. You can watch it live here: http://www.i-bidder.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/cheffins-vintage#
  14. I went to have a look at the vintage sale yesterday. Took quite a few images so will upload in due course. Looks like it will be another busy one today!
  15. Interesting Steve, I've currently got my "father in law" (to be) building a SCALEdown TM135 kit. I don't suppose you own a real one do you?
  16. I sent this query to Warner for you since he probably knows the best answer! He has just responded
  17. I like the interesting Britains garden leaflet. Not seen one of them before. The MB trac set is also nice, something yet to be added to out collection.
  18. Interesting Mark. What about the national archives for a reference to possible other publications? http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/records.aspx?cat=007-trmas&cid=4-1#4-1
  19. Interesting Clive, thanks for the images.
  20. Thanks Tris for organising this. An enjoyable visit, and good to see such a local firm (to me) expanding and doing well! It was quite pleasing to see an interest in the model side of things from them too. I'm sure we'll be back and possibly look at merging other trips in the area around the Spalding weekend in the future.
  21. Thanks for the pictures Mark, and thanks to everyone who helped me on the FTF stand on Sunday. I think the show was reported as being busier than usual this year with more people through the door compared to last year's spring show. Great to meet new faces and many familiar ones. Its a shame the show is only one day as there was certainly not enough time in the day to catch up with everyone who I'd like to. There seemed to be good feedback for our Charity Tractor Time Trial and thanks to everyone who had a go. Its certainly something we will be continuing at future shows.
  22. Just got back. Great show and nice to meet several new members today. A nice cold beer is calling now.
  23. Just setting off to finish setting up. We have a rather different take on our diorama this time, and should generate a few laughs, and best of all money to charity (cancer research) at the end!
  24. Spalding Scrumpy for all then...rumour is, its not actually apples they use in it...
