  1. Have you seen how much the parts are for jap crap :D :D
  2. I've had 5 now, all of which have given me some trouble \ The blue one is my current one, the silver one that you are thinking of would be Marky's I think
  3. Looks good Rich. I actually used to own a D90 pick up with alloys, good likeness to it

    My working week

Long story, tell you elsewhere Always pays to know that sort of thing........you can drive a Quadtrck on the road though as it isn't classed as a track layer \

    My working week

Probably going to be on a TM175 with a Welgar D6000 Baling so nananananana :D :D I only knew about that as the chap I spoke to here about a job for you last yeah had to do a cat H when he got his old challenger
  6. Looks good covered in much like that Sven I hope all those pink things and the perfume or whatever it is in that bottle aren't yours though :D

    My working week

What sort of mad fool would let you loose on a Challenger :D Best you get your category H driving test done as you nor anyone else can drive it on the road until you have that, think you may have to be 21 as well to drive a tracklayer on the road too so at least you can't terrorise motorists with it :D http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/WhatCanYouDriveAndYourObligations/DG_4022547
  8. Thats very true Ben, I have a pot full of seed hoppers and press wheels cast ready to start making one when I get some of my other bits and pieces finished
  9. Chris did tell me they had to confiscate his wallet upon entering the site just in case he got tempted :D :D
  10. So you finally see that what I've been saying all the time I've known you is right then, those old 735's and 836's really will pull and I haven't yet found an ordinary tractor that is as comfortable to drive. If its like my 836 I had it would do 43kph on the road as well Is turning orange a symptom of Avian flu : :
  11. Get the MX 110 and the open the screw on the fuel pump, she'll push out 130hp no probs, we had a MX150 opened up to 170hp and it never gave any trouble in the 5000hrs we owned it, would do two days ploughing on a tank of diesel and sounded nice with it
  12. Looking good The other bit will be in the post tomorrow
  13. oooooh not fallen out with anyone other than the missus for a long while now :D :D :D
  14. why not fit a small ram like the ones on the Siku ploughs and presses, that way it should hold it in the right position. Thats the way I have takled it on my Tim beet harvester except I used a slightly bigger ram off a Simba solo
  15. Cheers, I've done the self employed farm worker bit before so i'm not going in blind, will check with the tax office in town though Anglian water were looking for 360 operators not too long ago
  16. True but as it'll be on self employed terms and won't be until March it shouldn't make a lot of difference, should know a bit more after tomorrow
  17. I'd have said that its often the other way round at times, going by our old JCB's they had multiple users so only recieved maintainece when we had a few minutes to spare, smaller units maybe look after them better whereas a livestock farm cannot afford to have such a vital machine go wrong so they are well maintained, might be a bit moth eaten in places. If they break down and there is no other machine available to load the feeder wagon etc then its a big problem so they can be better maintained, although in saying that I have seen one or two used by just a cowman and I don't know what it is with those blokes but they don't half know how to abuse a machine :D
  18. The place I've just left had a 3085 the same age as that with no Dynashift, don't let that put fact put you off Martin. I only drove it once all be it on a 50 mile round trip and can honestly say it pulled like a train and boy could it shift on the road. I had to ease off or I'd have been into the W reg Renault that I was following, I know the Renault done 40kph so the MF must have been doing 42/3kph. It had a two speed splitter on it much like dual power on a Ford, if I were in your position Martin I'd seiously consider a 3085 even if it is red, take a drive of it and see what you think
  19. As Will says Farm Models is a good place to get them, you can use plastruct tube and split pins as well. Depending upon what you want to use them for telescopic car aerials are another good source for rams http://www.farmmodels.co.uk/spare-parts-farmmodels.html
  20. Following on from my MSN chat with Ollie they are similar to the ones shown here for those of you left scratching your heads http://www.chafer.plus.com/Horstine/html/planters.html
  21. Not something that I would normally think about doing but I just aren't impressed with how they have gone about things
  22. Thats what I thought too Sean, they said it was due to lack of work yet 10 days ago they rang me begging for me to go back although I was ill, something doesn't sound right to me \
  23. Watch this space Spoke to the manager there this morning, said I got your letter last night, all he said was "oh right", I'm now exploring the legal side of how they have gone about making me redundant, especially while I'm signed off work by the Dr \
