  1. Due to this topic having more Numpties than the Kings men could handle, any further replies may warrent more awards  :D :D :D :D (technically it was Humpty who fell but his cousin was also there ::) ::))

    Good job the spelling numpties are gone ::):D :D :D :D ;)

  2. Pardon me  :o :o :o:D :D ;)

Have to be 21 to get your tracklayer license :'( :'( so no ploughing for me this year just cultivator and looks like im stuck on the renault all year :'( :'( ;):D :D i wonder if i could manage to get the 818 for a bit hmmmm theres a challenge while your stuck on JD's haha :D :D

    Probably going to be on a TM175 with a Welgar D6000 Baling so nananananana :D :D :D :D

I only knew about that as the chap I spoke to here about a job for you last yeah had to do a cat H when he got his old challenger

  3. I'll keep that in mind luke will try and get pics keep you all updated especially should have a ex demo challenger arriving next week that we just bought :-*:-* :D;) and with spring drilling coming up will try and get some pictures etc i'll probs be on cultivator if college will let me free >:(:D :D

What sort of mad fool would let you loose on a Challenger :o::):D :D ;)

Best you get your category H driving test done as you nor anyone else can drive it on the road until you have that, think you may have to be 21 as well to drive a tracklayer on the road too so at least you can't terrorise motorists with it ;D:D :D ;)

  4. Get the MX 110 and the open the screw on the fuel pump, she'll push out 130hp no probs, we had a MX150 opened up to 170hp and it never gave any trouble in the 5000hrs we owned it, would do two days ploughing on a tank of diesel and sounded nice with it ;D

  5. good luck with the new job gav and let them havit mate

be careful about the selfemployed bit as just got a letter from my accountant saying that subbies will have to pay 30% instead of 18% tax

so if any one wants a class 1 360 opperator (paye) please let me know b4 april 7/07

Cheers, I've done the self employed farm worker bit before so i'm not going in blind, will check with the tax office in town though ;)

Anglian water were looking for 360 operators not too long ago

  6. Try and find a telehandler around that price though that doesnt need some work to the brakes and other parts (normaly hydraulics) eg i would always reccomend a handler from a arable farm as is more likely to have been maintained and checked over but also likely to suffer from bad brakes from constant stop start and precision work (filling drills),  Yet a dairy farm one is lkely to have bad engine and hydraulics due to misuse and lack of maintenance ;) ;)

I'd have said that its often the other way round at times, going by our old JCB's they had multiple users so only recieved maintainece when we had a few minutes to spare, smaller units maybe look after them better whereas a livestock farm cannot afford to have such a vital machine go wrong so they are well maintained, might be a bit moth eaten in places. If they break down and there is no other machine available to load the feeder wagon etc then its a big problem so they can be better maintained, although in saying that I have seen one or two used by just a cowman and I don't know what it is with those blokes but they don't half know how to abuse a machine :o::):D :D ;)

  7. Cheers folks......Will get the rest up later this evening after CSI...... ::)

No idea on the hours on the Fendt Phill......Tyres don't look nearly as bad as some of the others in the yard so couldn't have been used for as much road work as some of the other second hand machines...... :)

The 3085 was a nice tractor Marky......Didn't ask for a price as I was a bit put off by the fact it didn't have Dynashift and was obly on an H Plate......Probably only on a 30K Gearbox......Might just have to wait for my dream 8360 now...... ;)

The place I've just left had a 3085 the same age as that with no Dynashift, don't let that put fact put you off Martin. I only drove it once all be it on a 50 mile round trip and can honestly say it pulled like a train and boy could it shift on the road. I had to ease off or I'd have been into the W reg Renault that I was following, I know the Renault done 40kph so the MF must have been doing 42/3kph. It had a two speed splitter on it much like dual power on a Ford, if I were in your position Martin I'd seiously consider a 3085 even if it is red, take a drive of it and see what you think  ;):)
