  1. I can't give you a fixed answer on that Chris as I don't issue certificates myself, I sub contract to a much larger company who does that bit along with the pricing. Would estimate £100-130 for a one day refresher though based on 3 people on the course.
  2. Sure I could sort that for you if you were a bit closer. Makes a change doing those sprayers to the normal boom type ones.
  3. No idea on that one Paul, it was there last year as well. Might be down to Case not doing a compact enough large tractor to fit their needs.
  4. No, still got Pumas, Maxxums and a couple of Quadtracs on that farm Paul.
  5. Certainly is, back there again Saturday. They started combining just after lunch today on OSR.
  6. Been at Stamford today doing a telehandler course and saw this rather large and impressive set up sitting in the yard......
  7. Did a little bit of pulling down for sugar beet back in the spring with a JD 7230r and seedbed harrow. That's the total of my tractor work so far this year and not planning much during harvest yet either due to training commitments.
  8. I've started carrying out training for the NPTC Pa3 orchard sprayer assessments as well so getting to see a few different machines with this one. We don't do many a year though so not common still.
  9. Nothing too exciting been happening so far this year, I've only done 5 days of farm work all year as the training side of my business has really taken off since Christmas when I took on the Pesticide training for two other groups and then work for another two in the past few weeks meaning I now carry out training for 7 independent training groups across the East of England. Just a few pictures from the past few weeks telehandler training. JCB 550-80 and Claas Scorpion 7040 on which I have done refresher training for one of our members.
  10. Waldersey knocked some OSR off last Wednesday at Friday Bridge so they've been going for a while on it now, Legges started around that sort of time as well on the barley.
  11. Another busy day today, day one of a two day telehandler course at Otley College. Training is manic at the moment, I'm even running courses on Saturdays all month as it's so busy which is very unusual! The farmers have really been pushing things up until the last moment this year, my first available booking day currently is July 31!
  12. They've already started cutting in this part of the country on the lighter land, early this year!
  13. Certainly did although it made the Royal Norfolk show "interesting" today. Hasn't done the near fit to combine crops a lot of good either.
  14. 72mm of rain here since yesterday lunchtime......bit damp!
  15. Been near Spalding today doing a Pa2 spraying course on a farm. Bit wet when we finished!
  16. Still no better down there than when I saw you a couple of weeks back? The neighbours oats er I mean barley must be scorched off by now!
  17. Having 'fun' today trying to rewrite the safe use of knapsack sprayers course to use to train in the use and calibration of hand held granular pesticide applicators...... spinning disc lawn spreaders in other words.....my head hurts!!
  18. Have you forgotten to take your worming pills again David?
  19. Down near Shefford in Bedfordshire today and tomorrow with my forklift instructors hat on for a two day counterbalance forklift course.
  20. Seems to happen quite a bit these days. I knew you were around that area somewhere but couldn't remember where. I'm doing more work now for the training group that covers your area so never know when I might be in the area again.
  21. A stones throw from the showground down Moulsham Hall lane. First time I've been down into Essex that far for training courses.
  22. Enjoying the first day of a 4 day weekend after having a long day yesterday down near Braintree teaching. Very little paperwork to do this weekend so should be a relaxing one!
  23. Enjoying the first day of a weekend away on the edge of Rutland Water, been a busy few weeks and the next few are looking manic so short break was needed!
  24. That's a very nice addition to your collection. James has done an excellent job building it.
