  1. Nice looking combine. Good replacement for your existing one. Just need something shiny to cut your grass with now to compliment it 😆
  2. First fit together of the biggest parts. Looking more like the real thing now I think!
  3. Try increasing the temperature a bit, PLA wouldn't stick very well on mine so run at 220 on the nozzle and 65 on the bed now and had no problems since then
  4. What temperature are you running a Sean? Also, I did read something about someone having issues after using IPA on the bed. What % is the IPA?
  5. Progress is being made, blade unit and risers drawn up and printed
  6. So far I’ve got two of the main frames printed. The covers will be printed once and then resin cast…..currently!
  7. After a bit of badgering by a few people I have broken out the model making kit again and also come up to date with how to build them. The first new model off the list is the Sator Onion Topper. I've gone for Sator as it's a brand I sell at work and to make it easy on myself as we have one in stock that I've been able to get measurements from. It will be made out of 3D printed parts and resin cast parts this time. All of the initial 3D design work has been done and the first parts are in the process of being printed. I've tried to keep it and also as detailed as possible so we'll see how it turns out now! This is the machine it's based on
  8. First part designed by myself under way. Handy that we have the real machine in stock at work currently
  9. They should be all the same finger, no top or bottom ones. The first layer seems to loop so will get the glue stick out next time. It’s SunLu PLA filament in there now. it’s a complete Moreau six row beet harvester on there but all the files are separate which is handy.
  10. Trial print of a cleaning turbine for a sugarbeet harvester that I found on Thingiverse. Needs a bit of refining but not looking too bad for the first go
  11. Yes, liked the look of the direct drive head on it after doing research about printing flexible filaments. That was my thought, already found some 1/32 parts for beet harvesters on the various 3D sites.
  12. Some bits are warped but some hot water will help sort that out
  13. It’s something like that. Would have been the last time I built any
  14. 7 very dusty kits for the original Tim beet harvester found along with the casting master. Let the fun begin!
  15. Just knocked the dust off this lot……it’s been in retirement for over 12 years…….watch this space!
  16. Spent the last week in Devon putting one of these Enorossi Batrake 12’s together ready to go to it’s new home. They come in in the crates behind it and are like a giant Meccanno kit!
  17. To be honest I’m glad it’s postponed as it was looking to be a disaster for those of us exhibiting with the amount of people saying they weren’t going to attend let alone the problems with getting machines for it currently.
  18. With what they are charging us to exhibit I think they may get a few choice words if they want exhibitors to pay that as well. The tests were all free at the EIMA show in Italy and there’s no reason they can’t be here too.
  19. At the moment it is but we’ve got a few weeks to get through yet.
  20. From our point of view we’ve also been told that we have to sanitise machines after anyone has put a finger near them……looks great from a customer relations point of view……new customer comes to stand and we have to whack the anti bac out over anything they’ve gone near 🤣
  21. There is currently rumblings of it being postponed again given everything going on. we’ve been told that stands must not be over crowded with machinery to allow more people space than normal amongst a host of other restrictions from the organisers.
