  1. Cheers John, bit of a shock but credit where credit due, was Gemma's idea to be midwife on call..... I just think the judges liked the turbo whistle ๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. https://m.facebook.com/events/200664074503304?view=permalink&id=605565097346531 Link to a video of the tractor run heading in down Clitheroe high street BREAKING NEWS... Gemma win first prize in the best decorated tractor on the run ...... Gobsmacked to say the least ๐Ÿ˜
  3. Thanks Smithy, yes hopefully it'll do a bit of good for the charity
  4. Was local young farmers Christmas tractor run on Sunday night, just a short circular route around the Ribble Valley through the villages to spread a bit of Christmas cheer, so Gemma and I took the 804 and 465 respectively and spent a few hours putting a few fairy lights on them, 1200 on the 804 and 1100 on the 465, plus a few reindeer and inflatable Santa.... Anyhow not many classics turned up, mostly big John Deere, but got a photo of us at the sign in point... Was a good night until a ***** of a spectator launched a bucket of water over me on the way back into town.... hopefully the 130 plus tractors will have raised a bit of good for the Field Nurses Charity as at the last run in 2019 they made a great ยฃ7000 for the Air Ambulance
  5. Already dropped them an email Joe, hopefully hear a bit if info on them fingers crossed
  6. Recent surprise birthday present off my better half @MarshallGem in this James Jones timber tractor conversion based on the Marshall 604 and 804 but what I didn't know until Gemma surprised me with this that James Jones also offered this timber tractor conversion on the 6 pot 100 series...... I've started asking a few questions if any 6's actually got converted.....
  7. Maybe John's a little bit nocturnal John.... Perhaps he knocks the models out at night..... Either that or he just doesn't sleep......but agree with you yet more brilliant work in going by the hands of the master craftsman and his magic scalpel and cutting mat ๐Ÿ‘
  8. Had a trip down to Newark Tractor show on Saturday with John (JMD) and two Dave's for a wander about, good to have a catch up with a few folk and of course I spent a bit of time around the Nuffields and Leylands.... Any how a couple of photos of what was about the club stand, admitting that I missed a couple of photos of Pete's 302 and 702 , Marshall and a really nice 844 Steyr based Marshall.... truth be told though a couple of rare models on show including a Bray 470, a Cantatore converted 10/60 and Pete Sampson prototype Leyland 184, of only 2 survive, which is next generation of the little 154 built in there thousands...... these 184 prototypes were built in Bathgate and then production moved to a British Leyland plant in Turkey and given the model 302 designation
  9. Interesting project James, when I first see the word automower I thought you were heading away to tackle one of the Long wheelbase cable/pylon winching tractors......
  10. Mmmmmm I've a feeling you've alot more in your collection to tease us with John..... Great looking collection from what I seen so far ๐Ÿ™‚
  11. Was someone in Ireland done a 16th one that was 3d printed, he might have done 3 of them on the old 1st issue 7600, then Tabmodels did an Ap cabbed 10 series one in 16th again using the 76 chassis......
  12. I know what you mean Justin, yes a bubble cab would have been next logical step but guess UH didn't want to invest in tooling for it... Yes think it was just rumours about a 7810 but by the sales of the 32nd everyone and there dog would buy one, just like they did with the grey fergy and 135 when they came out...... Think we can only live in hope of a 16th 10 series.......
  13. Agreed Justin, they could have done it as a 6600 to be different, afterall they have all the parts and also did both 5000 and 7000.....
  14. You always have regrets Zac, I'm currently back to the 465 and now Gemma's 804, after the 345 went up country to Durham, but I've a 272 in the pipeline to come soon, a 1977 10 speed, been to view a synchro but can't broker a deal on it..... yet.......
  15. Trailer a nice find Zac, I bet Teagle would supply you drawings for a set of Silage sides if you asked nicely seeing as it's a rarely seen trailer..... What's your current tractor fleet at then? The 82, the 77, 802 and 262, the little allis, the little Nash , the 3c and The JD puller?? I know you punted the Nuffield on and the Nuffield breakers....
  16. Cheers Mike ๐Ÿ˜‰ in fact in the post above the Leyland one, the Duncan cabbed tractor could be either a 253 or 344 Leyland being on the small 8 stud halfshafts
  17. That's not a bad days run there Joe, well done ๐Ÿ‘
  18. It is that... Moreso in the bray and export and industrial/ highways stuff.... Doubt I'll ever have a complete catalogue but if we keep finding bits it's a bonus
  19. Thanks John, aye we getting a few gathered up, thing is the more I look and dug the more I find that I haven't got.... But they'll turn up eventually
