Valley Axeman's 1/16th collection
Valley Axe Man replied to Valley Axe Man's topic in Share Your Collection
Cheers for the comments and likes lads, much appreciated I didn't actually know Brian did a 4/60 on 14x30's, so when i saw it i thought it might as well come home.... i am still missing a 10/60 on standard tyres and a 4/65 on wide tyres, plus the winch version of the 4/60 to have the full set of Nuffields that Brian's done so far..... Give it time and i might have filled the set by the time i'm 40 hahaha -

There's a bit of work there James, but looking good Quite a few tridems knocking about now but first i've seen with livestock body -
Looks like a cracking run you had there Martin spent couple of hours yesterday taking the tank off my Major.... it's split at the seam around the two halves where the top meets the bottom on the way to or from our local Ag show a Saturday , so will spend an hour tonight after work and run a weld along the seam where the split is....

Great to see your Britains collection thread return Justin -
Nice selection of 16ths John , Ertl's range of tractors really take some beating for durability, some of the castings are pretty good too, i think they cottoned on to this as over the years they've got more and more collector orientated, like the JD Key series, and the Prestige versions, Thanks for sharing your high houred classics, There is another big fan of 16th scale on the forum, called ErtlErik, and he has a rather nice collection too
-
Cheers John, yes i do have a bit of a soft spot for 16th scale and look forward to seeing your collection when you get time to

Well after her first show of 2017.... i have to admit it's the first time i been sat on a tractor in a thunderstorm.....Still apart from that all went well, and booked her into another show in about 4 weeks time.... -
There might be a real one somewhere Sean...... might be one of those buys i need to see in the flesh rather than on the screen.
