  1. Cheers for the comments and likes lads, much appreciated I didn't actually know Brian did a 4/60 on 14x30's, so when i saw it i thought it might as well come home.... i am still missing a 10/60 on standard tyres and a 4/65 on wide tyres, plus the winch version of the 4/60 to have the full set of Nuffields that Brian's done so far..... Give it time and i might have filled the set by the time i'm 40 hahaha
  2. Tidy little dexta there Martin, you might let on a cheap NP major at Penrith
  3. Not really bought owt for a while, but thought having a little spend an a trip down to Spalding the other week might help de-stress me a bit...... have recently added another 16th Nuffield to the collection, an RJN 4/60 fitted with a front weight and 14x30's And one with the rest of the family.......
  4. Looking good Martin , Even if your not 100% convinced about the decals it still looks great in your photo's
  5. There's a bit of work there James, but looking good Quite a few tridems knocking about now but first i've seen with livestock body
  6. Sounds like it could be sorted Martin, at least they are a steel tank... we had some really bad ally tanks off a couple of abused merc tippers in for repair a while back and they were absolute pigs to cure...
  7. where abouts has your tank split Martin? got a weld on mine last night, will have hopefully cured it
  8. Looks like a cracking run you had there Martin spent couple of hours yesterday taking the tank off my Major.... it's split at the seam around the two halves where the top meets the bottom on the way to or from our local Ag show a Saturday , so will spend an hour tonight after work and run a weld along the seam where the split is....
  9. Great to see your Britains collection thread return Justin
  10. Best look after her John..... there was a late reg'd "G" plate '89 force 11 7810 in the Chefffins sale at Harrogate last Saturday, though she'd only done just shy of 1700 hours she made £15500 when the hammer fell!! Once of a day Silver jubilee's were making that sort of coin....... .
  11. Nice selection of 16ths John , Ertl's range of tractors really take some beating for durability, some of the castings are pretty good too, i think they cottoned on to this as over the years they've got more and more collector orientated, like the JD Key series, and the Prestige versions, Thanks for sharing your high houred classics, There is another big fan of 16th scale on the forum, called ErtlErik, and he has a rather nice collection too
  12. Cheers John, yes i do have a bit of a soft spot for 16th scale and look forward to seeing your collection when you get time to
