Tried a 2wd conversion of a 3080 , front axle off a 188 with Britains case wheels. The rears are off a Britains Renault cergos but they are probably a bit big

Haha, my patients was starting to fray by that point. Not paint brushes no, but the girlfriends horse is a bit cold now

A few months of building here and there I have finally finished my thatch barn… I have used plumbers hemp dipped in wood glue in small bundles and stuck straight onto the rafters, and balsa for the main structure. It is based on traditional Wiltshire barn building methods.

Slowly getting there… I’ve found you have to be rather quick soldering the smaller parts (like bonnet catches) as they tend to melt with the iron on 300. I have also performed the drop test in which it did quite well🙄

After re reading this thread to remember how to do it, I’m having another crack at soldering. I’m trying it on an old scaledown model which is a lot easier ( especially with instructions thank you Zac ) which should be a bit simpler the traction engine I started this topic on, of which I have progressed no further and is now back in its box. Nevertheless here is a start on the tractor…The two sides of the main casting and rear together… The iron, flux and metal
