That looks fantastic Sean, I had at muck once with soil pva and plumbers hemp but it looked too fluffy, more like hair than straw -
For the price there a nice model, the Fergusons. Very light and but detailed. I also have an atlas international and a french one but there flimsy and awful quality. The 4wd is an atlas with wheels from a Britains dumper and parts off a 1/35 italiari Land Rover kit. Here’s an atlas one and a UH one for size...

Really like that James I recon dark red and black with sign writing or dark green and red would look good -

Look forward to seeing it all take shape Sean, good to see you’ve got some westons on the go haha -
What lights are you using in the room? Are they warm? I have the same problems with things looking different colours so I tried a lamp with a daylight bulb, it is good but like you say nothing beats natural daylight, not as many shadows

Very nice job indeed -
I think you need a bigger plough Dave neat line up you have there

That’s interesting, must have taken a fair bit of work to cobble that all together. Like you say good use of old parts, I suppose 4wd would have been rare back then. I wonder if there’s still any around
