  1. Have to agree David, This one is being built with Autonomy in mind, Bit worrying all this new tech being produced with no one needed to operate them, Armageddon beckon's, Regards Joe.
  2. What do you guy's make of this new concept,?? Regards Joe.
  3. Barry, I've been retired now for two and a half years, And avoided anything to do with CAD thinking it to be way over my head but I came across RS Designspark by accident and eventually gave it a go, On the start page ( after downloading it ) when it pops up on screen, ( PC ) down on the lower right corner it say's " Creating your first solid " click on that and just follow their directions, You'll need to try a few times, but your familiar it gets really quite simple, RS available for free here you just need to join for free, https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/home As for printer this one is brand new, Auto bed leveling, a proper extruder which can handle any filament, even flexible, and better still it can re-start after power cuts, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creality-Pro-3D-Printers-Removable/dp/B07PF9ZW4N/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=creality+ender+3+pro&qid=1638807915&sr=8-6 Regards Joe.
  4. Or, you could just 3D print one, I have no idea if these dimensions are even close I just eyed the size useing the squares on your cutting mat drew it up in RS Designspark took about 20 minutes then printed it in low resolution and that took 15 minutes, Regards Joe.
  5. I've been learning a bit of CAD the last few day's, Turned out not to be quite as difficult as I had previously thought, Useing RS Designspark as they're directions are easy enough to follow useing "Create your first solid" instruction, Takes time mind and you do need a Computer / Tablet a good sized screen and a mouse or similar, I have changed the rough Zunhammer slurry tank into a more accurate model which is now correct size and no legs. https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/home Regards Joe
  6. Terragator 2244, Salut gety, ?? Je suis vraiment désolé je ne sais pas où vous pourriez vous procurer un modèle d'un Terragator 2244, je n'en ai produit qu'un pour moi je suis maintenant à la retraite et je ne fais plus de modélisme. Salutations Joe Is that e-mail adress correct, I keep getting it returned as UNDELIVERABLE,
  7. Don't think the Massey Massive will like this, The new Massey Ferguson logo, I think dress is the official name to celebrate their 175th year. Regards Joe
  8. Thank you for clarifying that Atte, fairly unusual to have two producers making the same model of one OEM, hopefully one of them might produce the 17 meter version, Regards Joe.
  9. I would doubt that Ben Universal Hobbies already have the Bednad licence to produce the Terraland TN 3000 https://www.farmmodeldatabase.com/en/view-details/013992/universal-hobbies-1-32-bednar-terraland-tn-3000-profi-d7r.html Regards Joe.
  10. Brand new Deutz 8280 TTV for A&C Hobbs of Herefordshire in Blue, Regards Joe.
  11. Thank you very much smithy, There is ten years difference between them, And the guy that created it did say it took him 3 years to iron out all the bugs to create it, I just dissassembled three models and rearranged them to create mine, Regards, Joe.
  12. This fantastic model has just appeared on Facebook, certainly knocks my effort for six, Regards Joe.
  13. Looked again, There is an app for the ipad, https://apps.apple.com/us/app/publisher-for-ipad/id801087884 Regards Joe.
  14. When I looked this afternoon it was available to buy, But if you have a subscription who knows, But as James say's might not be compatable with IOS, Regards Joe.
  15. What model building is all about, Cheers James, Regards Joe.
  16. I just tried that in Paintshop, Works a treat, never thought white would be an option, But there again I was thinking Word, When I should 'ave been thinking text in graphics, Regards Joe.
  17. Cheers James, I'll need to look into Publisher never seen that before, Paintshop works pretty much the same as you describe, But never done it that way before, Old dog, New tricks, Regards joe.
  18. Just noticed that's a slightly different one than I suggested, But no big deal that is a bit better model, Good luck to you on your adventures Regards Joe.
  19. Ah you see what you just said baffled me, ??I have been Googleing all over trying to find how I could capture a white image then super impose that onto a coloured image. Mainly because my red Kenworth has limited space for decals, The only space I could put one is between the vertical grab rails on the side of the cab, But the text on them would need to be printed vertically also which is difficult 'specially with me having a W in the middle which throws thing's out a bit, Do you know if vertical printing is possible in a graphics app like Paintshop Pro, ?? Regards Joe.
  20. Once you see it working you will start to understand what it's all about, It is a steep learning curve with all sorts of new terminologies but it will come with time, your daughter will take to it like a duck to water, kids these days are already tech savvy. Regards Joe.
  21. I'd forgotten about these I did earlier in the Summer. Regards Joe.
  22. 3D scanning is really a bit of a grey area, there are scanners out there for as little as £100 odd But how good that might be is anybodies guess, Forgood results you would be looking at £1000's, My first 3D printer was a combined printer scanner but the scanner has never produced a decent scan yet, I suspect the software is outdated, scaleing any object is straight forward if you know the size of the original object for example, Trucks need to comply to C&U regulations, they must not exceed 2.5mtrs therefore 2500 divide by 32 = 78.125mm. Regards Joe Ciclops 3D video link,
  23. That may very well be true James, I've been playing around with RS Designspark again and built in CAD the Zunhammer slurry tank I scratch built a while back, Built it useing CAD plus methods you can use in your slicer to reposition and merge two seperate items,That's how I got the pipes on top and on the sides, I used low settings for speed and just to see how it came out, It came out fine for me, but there's an awful lot more I need to learn, Like how to cut out the angled parts front and rear, Now the Craft Knife retirement bit, Yesterday I discovered you can create 3D printable part from a one dimensional PHOTOGRAPH, ???, I produced this front cab frame for a Flexi Cab again in low resolution just as a proof of concept print, https://farmtoysforum.com/topic/24457-whats-your-latest-farmconstruction-buy-2017/page/40/#comment-614582 Regards Joe.
