  1. Just received this ERTL grain hauler 1:64 scale. Die cast truck and plastic trailer. The top for the trailer comes off, doors open on the trailer, supports for the trailer go up and down but work rather hard. This is missing some detail; mirrors, lights front and rear, rear mud flaps etc. But for $17.00 can’t really expect more. The logo is nice and I guess it’s supposed to be a Kenworth or a Peterbilt truck. I added a lot to my other semi but this one stays just the way it came out of the box. I’m not messing with it. At least it has twin stacks.
  2. Here we have a 1:64 1950 Chevrolet John Deere Dealership pick-up truck. I have given a lot of my 1:64 scale models, both John Deere and NASCAR to charity and to my wonderful neighbor for her yard sales. But not this one.
  3. Thought I should add another logo to each side of the cab. So I printed the John Deere logos on my printer, cut them out and used Elmer’s all purpose glue to glue one to each side. Gives the old truck a bit more color…………
  4. Just for kicks, another shot and close ups of my favorites……….
  5. I’ll tell ya all, I had a minor stroke a while ago (TIA) could have been a lot worse but this one left me with poor balance. I go to physical therapy a couple times a week. I am doing fairly well and as I said, I have seen a lot worse and I hope this is the last one. I still walk my dog and do some yard and house work. One of my friends died from a stroke and one was left with slurred speech. As of now, I feel fortunate at 76.
  6. Haven’t been here for a while but added and touched up the John Deere Express semi…….
  7. And a fellow from Pennsylvania claims he saw this in Lancaster County last evening,
  8. Thanks and a Merry Christmas to you and all. I love your colorful photo and the tractors really set it off!
  9. And to add this one more that just arrived from Wright Implement in Owensburg, Kentucky, 1:32, John Deere 4020 diesel
  10. To all the wonderful farm toy collectors here..............from Corky Molloy, I wish you all the best and healthiest of holidays.
  11. Absolutely fantastic job, so very realistic looking!
  12. Tamiya produces some of the best models. Yours is really nice and I have built one of their destroyers a long time ago.
  13. Just beautiful, I enjoy looking at them and everyone’s work here. To be honest, over here, I have never seen anyone doing this. Perhaps I am just misinformed? There may be some, somewhere. But you all do lovely work.
  14. Put some fertilizer/crabgrass control on the lawn and ran the gas out of the snowblower yesterday. This is one of the first winters that I can remember that we didn’t have enough snow to use the snowblower. Also charged up the battery on the electric start lawnmower. I had already put lime on the yard a few weeks ago and with the rain expected tomorrow and the way the lawn looks now, I would think that I will be cutting grass by next week. On another note, yes we stay at home now, except to go to the store or get gas. I walk my chihuahua each day if the weather is nice. There are only 5 cases of the coronavirus in our Franklin County at this time. I believe, unfortunately, that the numbers will rise. My daughter-in-law who is a physician and on the board at the hospital, said that if this becomes unprecedented in this community and she has to live at the hospital that even though ICU is not her specialty, that she is prepared for it. Hope it doesn’t come to that. I sincerely hope you all stay safe.
