You did a fantastic job, very nice looking. -
At the beginning it was stated any book collection. I have posted here earlier, my two tractor books. This is the rest of them, various subjects.

Thank you. Yes, the days have been in the mid 90’s. About two weeks ago we had a three day stretch of 97° + days. Then some thunderstorms cooled things off for a short while. Storms expected here tonight and tomorrow. But August is hot and humid usually in south central Pennsylvania. This is as far south as I have ever lived. You could not pay me to live in Florida. I’ll take the snow and cold in the winter before that.

This is actually near Sharpsburg, Maryland. This is the Joseph Poffenberger farm on the Antietam National Battlefield. A bloody battlefield of the American Civil War. I took the photo a few months ago.

Love the Toyota. I drive one. Not quite that fast or fancy. -
Those are all awesomely detailed models! The part about sneaking a model into the house without the wife noticing sounds very familiar. I have done it on more than one occasion.

Can be quite annoying. Our sub postman has delivered to the wrong house and I have had to. go to the post office where they can “track” as to which house the item was delivered. I know it was delivered because I have an “informed delivery “ app with the USPS, so I know what is coming on a given day. It shows as “delivered” on my iPad per the shipper, but I did not receive it) My address is 262 and he delivered to 162. Also, we have those “cluster” mail boxes in our development and sometimes I find mail in my box for another neighbor and vice versa.

The rain has fallen in abundance this Spring and with the humidity now, the corn crop is doing quite well here in South Central Pennsylvania. Hopefully, with more on the way, and with just enough seasonal temperatures, the crop will flourish and the farmers will have a good year. It will be much, much taller later on. This is “field corn” of course, but when the “sweet corn” comes in, we will be very happy to buy some from our local farm market. They will have it in white, yellow and bi-color. Nothing like fresh corn on the cob for supper, along with some sweet iced tea. Bump this photo up a few times for a better view of this beautiful countryside. I took this photo yesterday while waiting for my grandson to get off work from his landscaping.
