Well I have sold a few things of late, and some more bits and pieces are up for sale, someone has bid £112 on a JD 7800 which I altered to a 7810 (but not very well) so I suspect that bid will be withdrawn especially when you can still get the 7800s for a good deal less. the Replicagri Renaults are going to be sold too though at not sure if eBay is the route for them. -

I think so Paul, more options! Plus they are very popular around here. I will keep the Masseys and a couple of the Fendts though, I just would like an older Fordson - Dexta or Power Major etc. -

Universal Hobbies new releases 2023
CX820Joe replied to Tractorman810's topic in Universal Hobbies Models
I had one of the older MF telehandlers Paul and the attachment was removable if you undid some screws. I have got a small Manitou and the attachment off that is removable as well. I imagine it would be the same for the new one. -

A couple of better pictures now they are out of the box. The T7 has to be the most-difficult-to-remove-from-a-box-model I have ever encountered! I had to drill out around the screws as the screw heads had completely worn down. Worth the effort as it is a great model but there’s no way it can ever go back on its plinth! -

Universal Hobbies new releases 2023

There is a new version of the CR10.90 combine coming as well, updated graphics -
I quite like that Kramer handler and did wonder about getting one myself but I am quite happy with the Claas Scorpion for now and a pair of Manitous. I heard the Kramer based Scorpions were better than the following Liebherr machines l, though that was a few years ago and suppose they could have sorted them now. I wonder if we will get a model of the current Scorpion incarnation? I don’t think there is a lot on the horizon telehandler wise.

Was the longer nosed 1474 as based on the TW-25 skid unit rarer than the short nosed TW-20 based earlier model? I’ve seen mention that less than 40 of the short nosed model were produced

Following on from the Landini Starland, a terracotta New Holland version of the same tractor has arrived today. -
I am wondering if weathering the wheels with mig pigment and pva might prevent any more leakage

I had one of those Weise Deutz’s with that problem James. The tyres on this combine don’t feel sticky though, they just seem to leave those marks. Very odd.

I don't have much of a display, just a piece of board on top of a piece of furniture- which I intend to cover with something more realistic- but I have noticed that the USK Deutz combine leaves wet looking marks on this board, but no other model does, is this just some sort of reaction between the rubber and this type of board? Always been curious why it's just that model.

The 4450 among a few others has now appeared on Tomys YouTube channel
-
I do like the Ideal - the model isn’t without its quirks, and the tracked one I have has the permanently open tank, the wheeled one is the improved model with opening tank and spout which lifts up (in theory! Mine does not). Not very layout friendly given my lack of space so currently being displayed on top of a cd box!

I’m not surprised the 728 is so popular already but I watched a YouTube video by ‘Lord Muck’ on the T7.300 and that looked a very impressive machine too
