  1. Unfortunately not; I only ever saw it in the field the one time, and it was broken down then! The neighbouring farm came to their rescue with their Clayson M133! I think the Bizon was sold soon after, the farm that owned it started using a Contractor to do their harvest. Joe
  2. Probably going to make a right t*t of myself now, but here goes. As a kid, I always noted the number plate of the combine as a way to ID it (which worked out quite handy when you could see a particular machine working over a wide area). Anyway, of all those I 'I-D'd' over the years, Claas won hands down; heres how they were spread: (all of these around North Shropshire/Wales Border, by the way) Claas - 47 New Holland - 31 Deere - 20 Bamford/Laverda/Fiatagri - 18 MF - 15 Deutz - 10 BM Volvo - 4 Clayson - 3 International - 3 Allis Chalmers - 2 Case IH - 1 Bizon - 1 If you want to know what the different models of each make were can post that as well, thats when you've stopped laughing at this incredibly sad individual Joe
  3. Hi All, Just wondering - on the Siku Fendt 936, is the cab completely glazed? I had a couple of the JD 6920S which was a fairly good model besides having an open cab so you could steer the thing! Do any of the other Fendts have all glazed cabs? Ta Joe
  4. Dear Bill, I think a Gleaner combine in 1/32 scale would be magnificent - especially if it was the C62 conventional. I am sure this would be a winner, as it has been some time since there was a 1/32 Gleaner (I know there have been a few in the bigger 1/24 scale by a different manufacturer), and it would fit in nicely with the models of combines from the other big 3 that have already been done. The 1/64 model of the C62 is excellent - in 1/32 it would be amazing! Does anyone else agree? Best Regards Joe
  5. Saw one of my all time favourite combines, a Claas Dominator 85 whilst out last night - it was quite a way back from the road, but i've seen it before and have photos which I will try and dig out and post. There was another older Claas as well, possibly a Dominator 106, also spotted in the distance, but that was all I saw in 25 miles of cycling! I need to choose a different route I think! Joe
  6. Saw a Claas Lexion 460 about to start a field on Saturday, and on Friday saw my first combine of the season, a Claas Mega. Joe
  7. Now you are talking! I passed by a farm last year which still has a Volvo S950 - I think in working order alongside a Fortchritt E517. At one time the farm had two working ones and a scrap one at the back of the farm! Joe
  8. How about a Claas Matador, JD 630, Fahr M1000 or New Holland/Clayson 1540 to slot into the Classic range? Anyone else agree? Joe
