  1. I said a few weeks back a model of one of the new Forterras would be very nice... Joe
  2. Hi All, Does anyone have any tips for glazing the cab of a New Holland TJ 4x4? I thought perhaps the glass out of the Precision STX would work but I doubt it'd be possible to get hold of a spare bit of it, unless ERTL might do it - any suggestions? Cheers Joe
  3. Its a nice looking model but I just am not very keen on the shape of the STS - too 'stumpy' looking; but a model of one of the walker combines would be nice, a WTS perhaps? That 2266 that Britains/ERTL did a few years ago was OK apart from the fixed feeder house. Joe
  4. Out in the local newsagent today, picked up a copy earlier this evening, and yet another cracking issue! Even has a pic of my all time favourite Combine on page 34
  5. Then again they are a great looking model - so perhaps I'll just have to contradict myself (it wouldn't be the first time!!!) Does anyone know if it would be possible to create some glazing for one?? Cheers Joe
  6. Thanks Kentman, That'll save me looking out for one!! Joe
  7. Hi All, Just a quick question about the Scale Models NH TJ series - do they have cab glazing? I can't tell from the photos I've seen! Joe
  8. Although this isn't a type I am at all familiar with, when I saw the initial photos of the model earlier in the year my interest was instantly pricked, and when November finally arrived and G&M had their stock in, I immediately ordered one - well, did a buy it now on ebay from one of their auctions, and a yesterday it arrived. I do have other 4x4 tractor models, including Britains recent MF 1505 and Ford FW-30, both of which I am impressed with, all things considered, and also an older Allis Chalmers 440, which stays with me as nobody seems to want it!! But I digress...the IH 4366 model is quite honestly one of the best Tractor models I have seen, a fine looking machine to begin with, replicated beautifully by ERTL and very nicely detailed with light beacons, piping and a 3 point hitch. The tampo printing is wonderful and there are just a couple of stickers which are necessary as they are placed on casting joins. Although not a common tractor, certainly not here in the UK, I would not hesitate to give this model 5 out of 5. Only the one photo attached, showing the tractor posed next to the Siku Amazone Centaur Joe
  9. Just looked at the ebay ones - all over $30 right now - are these pre release auctions though? Its not out yet is it? Joe
  10. I remember a contractor having a couple of 8050's with 10' cut and they always went on the road with header attached
  11. Its a cracking looking beast - who cares if they didn't have them in UK they look great!! Hope to get one of them when they are released. Joe
  12. Weather here is a bit like me.....wet and windy ;D
  13. It is a nice looking model, of a less well known prototype - I think it would make more on ebay than I could offer, and I doubt unboxed versions are very easy to come by... Nevertheless thanks for posting the photo. Joe
  14. I can think of these: 145-14 155-54 (TZ16) 70-14 103-54 Cergos 340 Were there any more?
  15. Is the real thing being released in the UK? If so, its a bit of a missed opportunity that the combine wasn't done in 1/32 - they could do US and UK spec ones AND release it in Gleaner colours - they'd rake it in!! Joe
  16. I thought the FMC was much bigger than the Ploeger for some reason - must be the off centre cab!! Phil (Starbrush) built that FMC. Super set up there, two cracking models! Joe
  17. Hi All, I'm sure I remember reading on here something about the state of the UH Ares 657 when its removed from the box (I'm sure it was Kev - BGU who mentioned it) - that the beacon had come off. I too had a similar problem when I got one the other day, and also one of the mirrors was hanging off. So far it has resisted all attempts to be glued back on! I couldn't find the post mentioned above when I used the search tool, sorry. Joe
  18. Mean!!! I remember getting an MB Trac 1500 for my garden farm as a kid; it cost ?4.99!!! It took over the main share of the farms work, and worked alongside a Deutz DX92, Ford 7710, Fiat half track, MF 595 and 2680, and later an ERTL Case. Only have two Britains tractors now, both Renaults...a 103.54, and a Cergos, guess which is the more favoured!
  19. My word its bouncing it down here!! Coming down like stair rods it is!!!
  20. Amazing stuff! The Countys are fab - they all are!! Don't suppose you have any Renaults? The 1000DT I remember had a cab, but not much of one so probably noisy as well...I'll try and find the photos of it.
  21. Love the Fiat 1000DT - not seen many models of those - used to know of a farmer who had a 1973 one that he used for spud bedforming and powering the irrigator pump...
