  1. Hi Whats the best price you've seen for the Big X? Ebay seems to vary between 42-45 quid, and have seen for 40 on G&M - Anyone seen it any cheaper? Joe
  2. Hi Folks, Just wondered - whats the reach on the original Britains Loadall, and are they quite easy to come by. Remember reading here that the newer one isn't very good... Joe
  3. Nice fleet there F-P!!! A few highlift trailers and trucks to empty into and you'll be well away!
  4. Woke up this morning by a Jaguar 880 going up the road - same one I took a pic of a while back looking as though it was about to go head to head with a Fiesta! Much more interesting was the Tractor accompanying it - a very tidy W reg Ford TW-30. Joe
  5. Was there a Cergos 350 model with loader as opposed to thr 340? Joe
  6. Heres a link to a photo, this is the 128HP 11741: http://www.rietmanhasselt.nl/IMAGES/Zetor/Zetor%2011741%20Forterra.jpg I can well understand why it wouldn't be so popular as a model - you don't see that many about, though I passed a dealers in Llanfyllin (near Oswestry) the other day and there was an array of new machines on his forecourt - think they always were quite popular in Wales!! Joe
  7. There aren't enough models of the less popular makes, and I do quite like these current Zetors I have to say. A UH model of one would be excellent (but highly doubtful I suspect!) Joe
  8. Plenty going through Ellesmere today - A Jaguar 880 (grass pick up) passed by with a Western Trailer on the back. Also saw a NH TM (not sure which) with front mounted mower and towing Kuhn 303 mower, and a TS 115 has just gone past with a green Western silage Trailer. Most interesting though, on the back of a lorry was an old Hurlimann - I'd say 70's or 80's - not a type I can recall ever seeing. Bet you're gonna tell me they're as common as muck now! Joe
  9. Great shots there Chris...On the subject of Belarus tractors, I don't much about them, but would quite like to see a model of this one: http://www.farmphoto.com/photography/LargePhoto.asp?u=http://www.agrisurfer.com/mirror.aspx?dt=/attachment%2Fsize%5Foriginal%2FB25F0265%2D12CC%2D4E18%2D8D18%2DCC94C1D25BC1%2Ejpg&w=500&h=375&s=Belarus%2D2022 Joe
  10. Glad to be of help! Here you go - forgot to edge them though - what do think of the second one, trying a sort of optical illusion with that one!!
  11. Right, see if I can remember this right... If you are on XP you should be able to extract the files from the zip file. It will then place them in a new folder for you. Make a note of the new folder name, then you can close the extract program. Next step is to find the folder where the files have been extracted and open it. Find the font file (it should be the one with the symbol with two 'T's. Select this, right click and select 'copy'. Now go to 'My Computer', then to 'C' and then to 'Windows' and then font. Click edit on the bar along the top and choose 'paste' a box should pop up briefly and it will tell you the font has been installed - you should be able to use it in Word/paint then. Hope this is of use - if you can't extract the files, PM me and I'll email the font over. Joe
  12. That would probably be better than transfers to be fair - would give it the proper thickness. Pity I can't find one for the old style of plates as well though...
  13. it isn't the correct font, but a very similar one called 'mandatory'. I *think* I got it from this site: http://www.k-type.com/fontmand.html Hope this helps Joe
  14. Yeah I think so - when I sent for the info on them it was posted from Holland rather than the UK dealer! A Shropshire reg would be stretching things a bit!
  15. Yeah thats what I used to do! Not very clued up on transfer paper and how to do it with the PC/printer myself to be honest. Think I got the right letters for Pea country though - FE is Lincoln area isn't it? Got a Lincs Road Car model bus here somewhere and I think thats got FE in the plate!!
  16. Since getting the Ploeger from Jason yesterday, just wondering if I should add a number plate - been faffing about with the new mandatory font and made up an appropriate plate for it (and another I thought I might put on one of the Schluters...not the greatest pic - did it with print screen, but what do you reckon? At the right size and with right transfer paper should look OK? Joe
  17. Saw a bit of interesting stuff today; there was a Claas Senator on a farm near Dorrington (south of Shrewsbury) and then further along the A49 a couple of NH TM's on Grimme Tattie harvesters (though a dealer van was present on the way back). At a dealers in Craven Arms there was a nice Shiny Deutz 4065 Combine. Then, on the Ludlow - Kidderminster road there was a barn in a field containing two Allis Chalmers combines! I think they were 5000's, and fairly sure one had a cab. Later in the day, on the Shrewsbury - Ellesmere trip, there was a Claas and Valmet tractor ploughing and power harrowing in a field near Burlton, and then further along at Cockshutt a rather large JQ STS was chomping through some wheat. Joe
  18. Think company was bought out by an American firm and name changed from FMC to PMC. Not sure about the hydraulic question, but I think that is their 'relaxed' position - i.e when parked up (all to do with the levelling system) I must admit, I didn't know beans could be harvested with the pick up header - thought they needed a grain type header with reel. Great pics Mart! Joe
  19. P%^&ing down earlier but did see a big Valtra with a 7 furrow plough working away...
  20. Shaping up very nicely indeed!! I've always wanted to see a convo on one of these with more substantial wheels, and here it is! Super Job Mate, Joe
  21. For the first time this season saw two combines in the same field one day last week - both JQ's (CTS and WTS) - they were harvesting black beans but it was pouring down with rain.
