  1. I'd like to see more in the way of beet harvester models...a Standen trailed or the type with tractor skid unit. A 1980s Matrot or Moreau self propelled would be nice too.
  2. I liked Model Farmer when it first came out, I thought the design was amongst the best I'd seen in a magazine. I wasnt so keen on the design later and some of the photos were quite dark etc. Hopefully this new one will be a success though.
  3. Isn't it to kill it off so its easier to cut it?
  4. Do you just say the item is lost or something? There weren't many options?
  5. I've asked them to agree to cancel the sale, if I don't hear from them by 6 I'll open up dispute. If they agree I can get the things relisted.
  6. Does anyone else think machinery youtube videos with music tracks should have a 'CM' logo on the preview, so you know which to avoid...CM standing for crap music.
  7. I agree! Had one joker have maximum bid on 3 items, total of 87 quid, then read the feedback and see a few "positive negatives" saying they were non payers. There are positive feedbacks too but I dont suppose they will pay up. They will be going on the block list!
  8. I like the Ros Iron 200, wished I had got one really. It looks like it needs a linkage or a weight on the front to me?
  9. I wondered if it might be that one Joe or the P1000. Want to get one of those myself after I sold the Panasonic FZ1000. Found I used the FZ72 more for the zoom so something longer is more appealing.
  10. That's very clear on the zoom Joe, which camera did you get?
  11. Deciding what to get rid of to thin out the collection, space has become an issue sadly. Maybe this would be better off in the 'What annoyed you' section!
  12. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRITAINS-ERTL-JOHN-DEERE-8530-PRECISION-1-32-SCALE/264771449528?hash=item3da59bb2b8:g:xZsAAOSwbFFe776d Was that a steal for someone, or about par for one of these? And would my chances of finding same for that sort of price be extremely slim? Edit - see there are missing bits now I have read it properly!
  13. Sorry to reply to an older post, but think thats a Heron. That 6120 looks very sorry for itself!
  14. I need to take a crash course in weathering!
  15. Also have got this model out of the box for a proper look, the USK Vaderstad Tempo L16 drill. This is a cracking model, great detail and very well put together. It's very heavy too. A hint when putting it in work mode would be to fold out the seeding units first and then lower, if you lower them in the retracted position they catch the marker boards, I almost snapped them off, but noticed.
  16. Quite a bit has changed since this thread was last updated. Most of the dairy machinery has gone now, but I've kept the Megascrape and slurry tanker. A couple of views of my wardrobe top display, with three of the Fendts and the two combines present. Also a couple of older models I have kept onto. A New Holland telehandler, it's quite a basic model but I do like it. Also my only remaining McCormick, the ZTX.
  17. Remind me never to bother going to Charlie's when I think they are going to have a Britains model in stock, because they never do!
  18. I suddenly dont feel so dubious about my white Fendt now!
  19. One they ought to reintroduce into the range, maybe that, the most popular Ford TW, and IH/Case. They would sell easily.
  20. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Siku-1-32-Class-5000-Xerion-Plough-And-Seed-Drill/174305371331?hash=item289568e4c3:g:7acAAOSw0t5e18T9 Somehow I don't think those attachments will be too stressful for the Xerion
  21. And you also have to ask yourself why the managers at Wiking haven't thought to themselves 'hmm, those 6930s we used to make sell for a lot, why dont we churn a few thousand more out' I hope it sells but you do have to wonder.
  22. Found it on the Zetor listings on Konedata, always good to see rarer models like that
  23. That ZTS is a beast of a thing, never seen one before.
