  1. Fantastic work there mate. Be nice to see that flat 8 system. My grandfather would not buy one so we had to do it the old hard way. We had a old sledge and one of us would stand on the side at the rear. And try stack them then let them out near each other.
  2. Thought it would be that. Just wondering if anyone has come up with something with out buying it.
  3. Going to have a go at the blue bale trailer. The red cow feeder a d mabie the creep feeder. I'd like to see if I could do out with a old britains lorry. Also do the loader attachments.
  4. Had a walk round the farm to take pics so I can copy the machines for my diorama.
  5. Going round the meadows to remove the wind blown branches before the grass starts to grow. Shouldn't be doing jobs for my brother as my son is classed as high risk with this virus. But if I stay indoors anymore I think I'll crack up.
  6. What do you think of the fendt? I'd love to have a drive in one and work in one for a day. Though I still do like the older tractors 100 series jd old school stuff now. But the technology in them things are mad you can get left behind a bit and it's harder to work with. Cool shots cant wait till were cutting and turning grass but were a long way off yet..
  7. Can I ask what you use for guttering of is it just bought in?
  8. Very nice to get out on that beast. Love a Marshall tractor. Had one one greenside years ago. We bought it of a dairy farmer over at eagles field Scottish boarders. He had a second home stord in his garage that he said was the very last one that came off the production line. Think it was old b red or d reg something like that. Used to love the sound and whistle of them..
  9. Sounds like you've been flat out. Best way really.
  10. Think it looks good I like the tyres with that tread on. They'd look nice on any small trailer. That's why I like the britains wheel and tyres can be used on a lot of things..but not as nice as them ones.
  11. Looks really good my friend. What wheels have you used on spreader?.
  12. Yeah its scary at 5he moment as hes 6month post transplant so were classed as the highest risk. Wednesday was 10hours but I drove to our farm and spend a couple hours putting new steps on the jd6600. Hope Mrs.r is ok.
  13. Took the work bench to Newcastle today. The boy was in river hospital and only one of us are allowed on the ward with in. Just with the virus. So I thought I'd have a go at making a load of silage bales. It's a tedious job. But got other 30 made. I had a go at using black electrical tape but didn't think it looked to good. And it starts to peel after a couple days. So I used bin bags and cut up kitchen roll tubes. I think I'll have a go at spraying then as well see how it turns out. Think I'll have a go with lagging aswell see how they turn out.
  14. Sitting in the front carpark at Newcastle rvi hospital today for 8hours. And the sun shining like this...... but were home now.
  15. You've got to love them over the pond for tackling things like this. I watched a farmflix video about a Irish lad how went over not hundred percent where but went to work for someone. Said it's just supersize with everything. Think it was robinsons or something like that.
  16. Nice to see that sort of stuff. Is it a common fault. Would running them big triple wheels and tyres have out to do with it? Nothing on that sortbofcscale but when we put a full set of flotation tyres and wider rims on a hurlimann the Lad said we'll have issues with the size might damage the axles and braking. Been on 5 year now with no issues.
  17. Yeah its worrying seen wether this morning and looks like not much rain this week. The wain helped a little at the weekend but not much. We have realy but you get a load of stragglers at the end. Got 50 odd in the lambing shed and some singles in the field.
  18. Nothing like seeing the tractor pull into the field with mowercon. That smell of freshly cut grass. Looks like a good crop you have there. There nothing on ours yet itll be a late one for us this year I think shill have owes and lambs in meadows. Saying that theres still ewes lambing
  19. Started a wooden shed that sits opposite the bottom cattle shed on our farm. this shed was used for lambing. But as we built a new shed up in the next yard it's now used for the pygmy goats in winter.
  20. Think you've done a great job on the buildings and the slabs, the slabs look good as each one is so different. Like the finishing touches. Great work its nice to see the workmanship going into them.
  21. Great work there mate. Can I ask what thickness your making them?
  22. We had the 6410 it was our main tractor when I I was a boy. We ended up putting a tanco loader on it. Then it had a cab fire. We changed it for a jd 3650 as we got a bigger baler and ford wouldn't pull the jd baler. You interested in selling it?
  23. Just scrolling through the posts. Spotted this 6410 we had one on the farm years ago do you still have the 6410?
